Hi Shazz,

I couldn't read this without a tear coming to my eye. When the Post started all those years ago I had no idea that it'd still be running so many years later.

You've done a fantastic, professional, awe-inspiring job, and h2g2 wouldn't have been the same without you.

Thank you so much for all you've done, you've changed so many peoples' lives for the better.

Do you remember the hard copy of the Post we published, way back, to hand out at - was it the third or fourth h2g2 party? That has to be a collectors item now!

It's wonderful to hear that you've taken on a consultancy role, with your guiding hand it will hopefully go on for many years to come.

Ah yes, the paper hard copy of - that was the first London meet-up (any meet-up) I ever attended, you know...

Thanks to photos from previous meets that had been published in I had at least a vague idea about what the maniacs I'd meet up with would look like...

I remember scurrying to the 'Procrastination' thread when I should have been editing and wiling away a few pleasant hours in there with you.

Hi Titania The Paper Post! That was a marathon wasn't it Peta?! I stayed up the whole night before flying over to the meet just to make sure it was ready and you, Mina and Abi had the wonderful task of printing, chopping and stapling it together. I still have a copy signed by almost every h2g2er who attended the Meet and will treasure it always.

I think the paper Post was before Mina joined, it was just me and Abi at that point..

I vividly remember trying to put them all together; of course the photocopier went on the blink halfway through and we were all rushing around trying to find one that worked! I've still got a copy too, I keep it with all my special h2g2 bits and bobs!

I've got a feeling that was my first meet as an Italic Peta, but I don't remember doing any photocopying, I'd only been there a couple of days I think?

I remember having paper Posts on my desk afterwards and sending them out to people.

We've still got two copies one unsoiled and one signed by as many as possible.

I've determined that it is now one of my major goals in life to make it to a London meet someday.

Shazz, you and , got me writing again. I am still into it, just looking for another place to publish, and that is part of your legacy.

I was waiting and waiting for you Shazz! I did not sent things to since you are not there. I miss you very much.
