QUAKE, darling, is a revolutionary first person shoot em up released in late 1996 by id software. while a dissappointing single player experience, QUAKE shaped up to be a treat for the online gaming community. fast, furious and fun.

QUAKE II followed one year later. a regular topper of the lonely teenager's christmas list. (including me). QUAKE II, more focussed on the single player aspect, chronicled the war between the HUMANS and the STROGGS.

QUAKE III : ARENA set aside all the bounds of the single player aspect, and concentrated solely being on the fastest, most violent online experience ever. "fragging" is now regarded my many as a global competetive sport.

so yes, quake is "some form of computer game"

Fine be like that

the thing about quake arena is, i want a rocket launcher which is powerful, fairly quick firing, easy to use and not too damaging at close range (allows for rocket jumping). bang. i got one.
now lets take a look at unreal tournament. i want a rocket launcher. bang. i got one. but whats this? a built in coffee machine and dishwasher? hang on ill just fidddle around with the controls to get this thing working. right!! rockets. now the bloody things shooting six of the bloody things.
the bottom line is, quake is for people who like straight deathmatch. and unreal is for people who like experimentation.

sorry all, but i do like my rocket launchers

now lets end this madness and get on with our lives
