I don't know 'We are the Champions' by the Filmscore Orchestra, but I do have a weird instrumental cover version somewhere (its name escapes me because it was not something I listened to more than once!)
I should have guessed We Will Rock You soundtrack though - good one
I see you'll be listening to Wild Life and your Wings albums when you next get chance
Welcome While Whatever
Bluebottle Posted Jul 26, 2019
Today if I get a chance I'll see if I can hear:
'Welcome to the Neighbourhood' – Meat Loaf
'Whatever Gets You Through the Day' - Family
'(What's the Story) Morning Glory' – Oasis
'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' – [Various]
The Filmscore Orchestra album wasn't particularly good, or like an orchestra. I wonder if it was just one person with a keyboard?

SashaQ - happysad Posted Jul 27, 2019
Ah, the Filmscore Orchestra one sounds very like the album I have/had - that was one person with two keyboards that weren't quite in tune with each other A weird selection of tunes, too - it was a double album with one disc of Queen and one disc of Tina Turner
Let's try:
Wide Prairie - Linda McCartney
Working Classical - Paul McCartney
Wonsaponatime - John Lennon
Yesterday and Today - The Beatles
You Really Got Me - The Kinks
Whole Wide White Wild
Bluebottle Posted Jul 29, 2019

'White Light' – The Corrs
'Whole Story: His Greatest Hits, The' – Cliff Richard (occasionally with the Shadows)

Ah, my handy list didn't mention that You Really Got me was Best Of!
Icy North's points are my points, and my points are Icy North's points, so Wild Life was already counted in post 267

Ah, in that case I'll take those points off Icy and award Sasha a bonus point for spotting it

Today at nammettime I went shopping and bought from the charity shop the 'Trainspotting' soundtrack album - without stealing it
Curiously, on the Special Shelf this week they had a copy of the soundtrack to the game 'Batman: Arkham Asylum'.
(The BHF shop had a new display cabinet/shelf installed last month and for the first 4 or 5 weeks everything I saw on this one particular shelf was something I wanted to buy, but as that's not a game I've ever played I've come to the conclusion that it was beginner's luck on the shelf's part and it isn't a shelf personally tailored to my interests after all.)

"it was beginner's luck on the shelf's part"
Well done on getting a new CD, even though it wasn't from the Special Shelf Am I right in presuming you have seen the film Trainspotting?
Fascinating that there exists a computer game soundtrack CD - just shows the quality of the production, that it is worthy of different media. I sort of have a computer game soundtrack album, but only because the Rise of the Robots beat-em-up game made use of Brian May's Back to the Light album

Today I am probably listening to:
'Wings at the Speed of Sound' - Wings
'Wings Greatest' - Wings
'Wings Over America' - Wings
'Wingspan: Hits and History' – Paul McCartney (and some Wings)
(I'm ignoring the albums titled 'Winter' for now)
And yes, I've seen 'Trainspotting', but not for about 20? years – when did it come out? (Ah, 1996). My mate Andy who lived round the corner loved 'Trainspotting' and had the soundtrack which he played constantly both at home and in his car, so I've lots of memories of hearing it in the background. Whenever I went to his house to play PC game 'Worms' he would name his team after the characters in the film, so I now associate the film with Worms calling on an airstrike and shouting 'Stupid!' in high-pitched voices.

Today, the penultimate day of going through my music collection (apart from the albums I bought since I started that belonged to letters beginning with letters I'd passed) I am mostly hearing:
'Working Classical' – Paul McCartney
'World of Mann: the Very Best of Manfred Mann' -
'Yellow Submarine (Songtrack)' – The Beatles
'Yellow Submarine (Soundtrack)' – The Beatles (& George Martin)
Only four more albums left for tomorrow (but none beginning with 'X')…
