I thought about meeting you for a drink/going to your mother's funeral/buying you a birthday present/visiting you in prison/ringing you for a chat/visiting you in hospital and it's the thought that counts.

Once again, we've just solved the world's financial problems. They wanted austerity? We've just come up with it.

The wrong people are in charge, Mac.

When was the last time they let intelligent people be in charge Jack? I fear it'll never happen for us.

It's the world's loss, Mac.

And ours.

Well yeah, but mostly theirs.

The rest of the world has a lot to gain from having us in charge. Economic success. Peace. Prosperity. Whereas we're just missing out on a life of wealth, fame and servants so, ermmmm...

Servants to bring me Classics on tap (not literally). That's the dream Jack. We just need to gatecrash G20 or something.

I'm sure they have rules about keeping people who are more intelligent than them at bay.

They'd set armies on us.

And that's quite likely a fight we wouldn't win.

Depends what armies really Jack. We should be able to take the French and what's the chances of the Americans getting the enemy first time of asking?

Pretty slim, Mac. They would inevitably kill five hundred people at a wedding before working out where we are.

So you think we've got a chance then?

Not if Russia send them on us. Well unless we're Afghanistanis I suppose, then they'd fail.

Anyway, I've survived in this cold office util 4pm. Still as diligent as ever.

I used to do that until a couple of years ago, PSD, but it's frowned upon now.

I've been having PC problems again. Apparently I have to get a new one and that will take a while. IT idiots.

So all I've got at the moment is the internet. I can't work even if I wanted to.

People could be sending me emails with oceans of work and I can't see them.
