I resemble that remark!
If the shoe fits, wear it.
Birds of a feather flock together.
Down and dirty.
Dirt poor.

Sensible People in a Strange Land?

So, how is it that "Fools rush in where angels fear to tread", yet "Time waits for no man."
"All things come to he who waits" yet "The early bird gets the worm."
"Patience is a virtue" and "Ignorance is bliss" yet "A stitch in time saves nine" and "Knowledge is power."
We humans are an odd lot...
...and since this thread has gotten so long, it keeps crashing my browser. No, that is not a saying. It is a fact. Navigator 4.08 with Mac OS 8.1. Anyone else with this problem? I got back in by clicking on one of the entries before it loaded all the way. I can also get on with Internet Explorer... but the Guide does not recognize me when I sign on that way. I fear it's bad Karma from thrashing poor Pokemon. Ah, well.
