So how do I get my brilliant, wonderful and marvellous FRAGMENTED story (or as I have subtitled it -- Knocking-On-The-Door-Of-Plagiarim-But-Running-Away-Snickering-- in the Fiction section?

If you post a link to it here (assuming you've written it as a Guide Entry... if you haven't say so and I'll tell you how) - the A number - then I'll add it to the h2g2 Fiction page

I've found them on your user page; I'll add them to h2g2 Fiction.
The links I wanted are A815384 and A817526, by the way, they're the 'A' numbers of the pages, which appear as links if you post them into a conversation.
Brilliant story by the way. I love the humour and Pratchettesque style. Are you continuing to write it?

QUESTION OF BEING ABLE TO LAUGH AT YOURSELF I SUPPOSE....

I've put it up on the h2g2Fiction page now. Hopefully there'll be some changes afoot for h2g2Fiction soon - it's got a bit quiet there so I'm thinking of ways of changing it and promoting it. Any ideas from budding writers like yourself will be appreciated

ERR... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THE FICTION PAGE???
THERE JUST SEEMS TO BE MY STORY... WASSUP WIT' DAT?!!

It's in the middle of some sweeping changes The Fiction page is now the front page of a kind of mini-site... the stories can be found under 'Stories A-Z by Author' or 'Stories by Genre' (which I'm still working on). It's obviously not clear enough yet, I'll add an obvious link saying 'click here to read the stories' or summing.
And your latest story is on the front page as it's the latest story - a bit like the 'Latest Entries' box on the front page of h2g2. That way the latest stories will get the most attention

YOU SHOULD DO A 'FICTION OF THE MONTH' OR SOMETHING...
WHERE YOU DIP INTO THE ARCHIVE AND GIVE IT SPECIAL MENTION OF WHY IT'S GOOD ENOUGH TO BE PLACED...
AND/OR ONE OF THOSE REVIEW BOXES WITHOUT BEING DISRESPECTING...
SAY OUT OF 10
FOR ORIGINALITY, PLOT, HUMOUR, INTEREST etc.!!!

Yeah, good idea... the problem I have with rating the stories here, though, is that they're written by such a huge range of people. Some are professionals in some way, some are amateurs still at school. So I can't really rate them on the same scale as it'd be unfair.
There are some amazingly good stories in there though - I might feature one or two on the front page.
What would be good though is to get other researchers to review each other's work. What's missing from here at the moment is constructive criticism; we need more debates
Key: Complain about this post

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
