This is what she said about Indian summers.
ahh....
no hindi term for indian summer comes to mind.....during this time of year over there they have monsoon....after about oct/nov it goes back to being hot and sunny again (but not nearly as hot as before the monsoon) - maybe that is where the phrase comes from
