"are you too bad, or just not bad enough" .. answer to that is "yes"
one of those ties!! and does it make music as well?? play jingle bells when you press it???

Sadly, there is no music. But perhaps this year, as a novelty business has recently opened here. With every kind of blinking lights, pins and thing you can imagine. Maybe shops there?
And a very good answer.

last year the hatchlings found small plastic trees with electronics in them, movement detectors and singing Xmas carols.. they spent half an hour making all ten (!!) trees on display sing in the shop, by then the attendants kindly asked us to leave
this year we'll go there again of course

It IS hard to go shopping with my wife. She MUST make every toy play it's music or sounds. I get home with a serious , but she loves it. She's just a big child in so many ways.

I just saw a silly little thing that made me chuckle ...
Mood Rings:
My boyfriend, not happy with my mood swings, bought me
a mood ring the other day so he would be able to
monitor my moods. When I'm in a good mood it turns
green. When I'm in a bad mood it leaves a big bruise on
his forehead.

Babette - Dinosaure Posted Nov 17, 2006
.. well, actually .. .. worst I ever did was to set ten alarm clocks to ring about with one minute intervals
as for singing Xmas trees.. I'd really love it but there's already Bob and two hatchlings so I just stand aside and look as if I'm not a member of the family
mood swings.. ... * makes notes *

Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Nov 17, 2006
Oh, I do like the alarum clock idea. I'll have to give that a try sometime.
I have been known to wander off to a decent distance from the missus. Unfortunately, she notices and calls to me QUITE loudly. So guilty by association.
And m'dear, you won't need notes about moods swings. As I've seen it happen, when-ever you are of an age, they'll be as natural as can be. And an absolute horror for Bob. "Been there and STILL doing that".

oh, the alarm clock department is sooo interesting. And the local gardening centre started to sell Xmas gadgets already, including my favourite "Douglas Fir": the singing xmas tree ("Hi, I'm Douglas Fir, Shall we sing a Xmas carol together? .. "Jingle []....") all in a nice social electronic voice.
one of them is fine, two of them are a nuisance, the shop had five of them switched on .. switched on until we left that is.
Mood swings ..usually biologically . There's red stripes in the family diary next to the telephone so Bob knows what to expect

Now c'mon ... That calendar idea is just too easy on him. Let him suffer and guess like the rest of us.
Mind you, I once had a supervisor who intentionally annotated every new calendar that came in to the shop. With reguards to one specific co-worker. Every 28 days or so, she'd magically find herself in the techical library, alone, updating our publications. "Someone has to do it, ya know"

Babette - Dinosaure Posted Nov 21, 2006
don't worry about the suffering and the calendar idea is just very good, easy, and straight forward.
I like the idea of your supervisor..

Easy, and relatively 'subtle', eh? Too bad that wouldn't have been any assist a few years back, ... when milady's medical concerns were beginning. Imagine 3 full 'cycles' in one calendar month? For 5 or 6 months?
I offered 2 options after a time, ... she seek medical advice, or I seek space in the barracks until something was known and met.

As you can imagine, it wasn't easy on her either. A lot of iron and other considerations were greatly depleted. So that, with the 42 moods in 10 minutes, ... It wasn't a happy time for either of us. But hey, that was 12 or so years ago, and apparently we both got through it mostly intact.
Naturally, you being of such a naturally sweet and light disposition, it wouldn't be a burden on your happy nest.

Babette - Dinosaure Posted Nov 21, 2006
well, iron would be one of the issues yes.. I'd fall over, fall down, not get up..
and my disposition can change into in no time .. in that respect too I am normal

Really? Nawwww, you seem the perfect , ... well as far as saurian-s go.
Milady proved to be amazingly tough through a lot of things. Endometriosis, a 2-inch ovarian cyst and fibroids, all at once. The were astounded that she was walking, talking and working, and not folded up in a corner somewhere wimpering. A common line I've had for her over the years is that she is my "big, brave, strong, tough soldier". And simply, she is.

Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Nov 23, 2006
Well, it's a good thing that saurian-s ARE different. Imagine just how dull life would be if we ALL were as sweet and wonderful as I am.
How's your worky-week getting along, Lady? Everything coming together smoothly, or some really hair-pulling confusions happening?

Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Nov 23, 2006
Hey, if everything went smoothly EVERY week, you'd become bored of it all. Dischord and mayhem keep you 'hopping", right?
My own week is more or less quiet, just lots of studying and planning for a week out of town.
