There's NOTHING like a good back-scratch ...
Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Nov 7, 2006
Pretty consistently, from late September right in to mid December, there will be some measure of a sniffle or a cough. But we're both of pretty good health, so it's a very rare time that either is brought down by a bug.
We just don't have the sturdy saurian constitution, I guess.

Well, if it DOES hit, there's not a lot you can do, eh? Except browse the homesteads that are now vacant, and see if one is nicer than your own.

Oh gawds yes. I can just imagine the noise across the landscape if there were a number of rumbling dino tummies. Small creatures would flee, stampedes would ensue, great clouds of dust would cover the earth, and ....
.... and get the beverages in fountains all muddy !!!

And hence was created replaceable caps for beverages.
How'd your week-end get along for you? Besides the obvious answer of "too short", of course.

That's got to be a good thing then. No inexplicable mounds and lumps under the carpet, closets freshly locked, any of the not-so-subtle hiding of "evidence".
My week-end was an extra day. Here, all government affiliated things honour November 11th as Armistice/Remembrance Day. And having been on a Saturday, Monday was given as a compensatory day. So, I was home, and milady working. I nice arrangement, I think.

That IS a distinct disadvatage to working for yourself, or from home, quite often, isn't it? Paid vacation times, medical and dental benefits plans, sick-days, ... All things that I have kinda grown accustomed to.
You'll just have to work a bit harder and get those hatchlings up to speed on what you do. And have them fill in for you a time or two a month. Now wouldn't THAT make for some interesting product?

"Paid vacation times, medical and dental benefits plans, sick-days" ??? and flexible working hours??
The hatchlings are .. creative, artistic, true.. true.. but I'm not sure .. well, maybe an experiment wouldn't be bad

The working hours aren't very flexible here, I'm afraid. I guess ya can't have everything.
Ya just have to learn to settle for fountains full of booze and babes.

I do hope it wasn't only in my own warped imagination. Though knowing myself as I do, that always IS a real possibility.

Babette - Dinosaure Posted Nov 15, 2006
.. well, I'm not too fuzzy to accept the booze and babes.. as long as there's a fountain filled with red wine and hunks as well
for the sake of equality ..

Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Nov 15, 2006
Well yes, fair play and equality are always necessary. But the hunks will have to remain on the shadowy side of the fount, ... so the sun can glisten appealingly on the more lovely occupants.
Especially if one of those beauties is a recognized "reliable person".
