You don't need postings to get researchers. I got a few researchers about the day after I started the birthday page. And I STILL haven't finished it.

Hi Longnamethatneverendsandrunsintothenextforum - Not everybody has an idea to encourage people to their pages - but even you used a posting to drag me over to your domain. - You got my attention and well done for the idea.
Many people have heard of me long before they visit my page. I became well known for all the things I have produced on this site but they nearly all find me by postings.
So Good Ideas and postings work together to get researcher visitors to their pages.
Oooo did I write that

As I said on Peta/Abi's Page - Saturdays are really bad for me - I don't normally finish doing the deliveries till about 4pm and usually I crash out after have 4 x 17 hour days on the trot. I am just about to go out now, Saturdays are my shortest working day and I hoped that I would be able to fresh'n up and be in London by about 7 to 7.30pm at the Pub, but I have just learned that some relations have decided to visit, of all days on Saturday, Arrrrrgh.
So it looks like we are not destined to meet. - I think I will have to Organize a meet, myself, Perhaps somewhere on the South Coast and have a fun day on the beach or something - It will most liely be a Sunday and know this will exlude some people but I am dying to meet some researchers and put a face to the names.
So unless something changes in the mean time - It looks very doubtful (AGAIN).

I do understand about your busy schedule A day at the beach sounds good though! Swimming, beach cricket, burying researchers in the sand Our trouble would be getting there though... as far as I know, there is no easy way to get to the coast from Luton Airport which is our preferred airport as the Easyjet flights are so cheap
I will raise a glass in your honour then

Hi vegiman
Thanks for you mailing. Just flicking through your page - it's obviously crammed to the brim with stuff. I don't think I will be able to get the most of this site as I am about to finish up at this school and that will be the end of free internet access. Still I will attempt to pop in now and again.
Thanks
Suzie

Hi Suzie
Make sure you have written down your emil address you are using now to logon to this site and set a password. This way you can access your page from a different computer.
When you leave this site make sure you log off, this way nobody using the computer at school can use your home page as their own.
I hope you can find another computer to use and come back and enjoy this great site.

Hey SG V (ACE)
Nice of you to drop in - Yeh there were a few last week and thanks for the pat on the back - Partly your idea and other aces - I just put it together. BTW What was it I said for you - are you refering to the text box on my page - Good aint it. Did you get a thunderous welcome when entering my page or did you have the sound turned off ?
Catcha soon veg
No thunder, I'm afraid
Santragenius V Posted May 25, 2000
Oops, did I miss something important?
I usually turn off sounds in IE -- I often play my own music and it sounds all funny when two sources are suddenly mixed...
I might go back and try -- only not just now (I'm at work, see... )
Be good,
SG V
Where has my Alicat gone??

Hi vegiman
Where is everybody??
I've checked out the bars in Frinks Drinks but they all seem deserted.
Have you heard from Cannon Fodder recently?
