Just noticed this -
>>John Smith the captain of the Titanic was born in Stoke On Trent on 27 January, 1850. A statue of Captain Smith his daughter Helen unveiled in on 29 July 1914.
I would replace it with this -
Edward John Smith, the Captain of the Titanic, was born in Hanley, Stoke on Trent on 27th January, 1850. His daughter Helen unveiled a statue to him on 29 July 1914 in Lichfield.
* the link needs to go on his name in first sentence please.

Bob, please take out the Hanley section. The museum is not a Spitfire museum, it is about the Potteries
Also, Hanley is no longer part of Staffordshire, so should not be part of this article.
I just re- read #78 and can see I wasn't very clear,
I suggest you just this sentence - right at the very end, with info about Mitchell
>>Visitors to the Hanley Museum, in Stoke on Trent, can see the famous Spitfire aircraft in all its glory.<<<
The link needs to go onto 'Hanley Museum'

Superb work Bob, Fire away Off to PR
Thanks ever so much, you've been very patient.
Did you know that we are now number 6 on the popular thread list on the front page? I can't understand the algorythms the powers that be have invoked to make this rise above so many other threads. Do you know why?
