Lemme do a few checks, but I think per ounce we are about equal. As we are for smokes. But for petrol, ... you've got the hurts !!!

Someone has to pay the exorbitant wages of those otherwise unemployables that we call "politicians".
I smoke, drink probably more than I should, and between the missus and I, operate two cars that you would class as "family" sized. I support my government(s) very well, thank you.

Nope. Woke to 0C, heavy frost on the cars, and the scent of snow in the air. The north winds are making the 6C that we did achieve feel much lower. We've been threatened by the weather folks with snow again (we had a couple of cm on October 13th) for weeks now. Soon, ... too soon.

You mention Vienna, ... are you in Austria these days? Your PS seems to say UK'ish.
But yeah, we do get some interesting weather. This particular area though is, by far, the tamest and mildest I have ever lived in.

Actually, hootoo'rs are like viruses. They are EVERYWHERE !!! Somewhere, Bagpuss has a map of the world with stick-pin markers of a load of us. Naturally, the densest concentration is the UK, but otherwise I don't think there any too many electonicized countries NOT represented.
