Yes, I have heard that housing is very expensive in England, particularly the southern half. We've had this for a bit over 7 years, and today's market would probably bring about 65-70K Brit-pounds. Here.

I dont know whats been going on but you and RG are in the spotlight I have sent RG the message below and that sums up my opinion of this. It seems to be the fault of third parties and lurkers. The last lines sum it up.

Well RG (and Rev) someones upset lil and I cant see how or why to far back in the past.
I dont think to be fair anyone is that bothered, after 10 entries it is to far back for anyone to look so apart from those who ferrit about (and are these the troublemakers anyway running back to people telling them what has been said about them (maybee these are the ones that they should stop)) it is as good as private untill someone makes a fuss.

So as most of us are in total ignorance about 99.6% of any conversations if your are upset or insulted it will only make things worse if you tell everyone.

The whole thing is unfortunate and is a waste of everyones time. But it prooves that we have a genuine family online complete with fallings out.

If it is left alone it will go away : now those who rake over the ashes (without good cause and the itilacs will do it in private I hope) will justifiably be labled as the true troublemakers in this and any other matter.

Good luck in this to you the Rev and lil you appear to all be victims of some sort lets learn from this and I intend to talk to all of you.

I was keystrokes away from posting a response when all the power to this airforce hangar died. Sure does get dark, this early in our day.

Anyway, $1-million would do us well enough, being the age we are. But you'd have to be pretty careful to stretch it if you're in your early 20's or so. ($1-mill of ours is roughly 500K of yours)

Well no, found money is a gift, be it 10-quid, or a million, eh? Most years, we get some kind of cash "performance" bonus near to Christmas time. The amount is totally flexible. One year, with restructuring, etc, we didn't. Man, did some of the lads raise a stink.

As with anything or anywhere else, we have people who dig and scrounge for every perk and benefit. And every loop-hole to avoid doing a decent day's work. Fortunately, we are not unionized, and so such dead-weights can be phased out fairly and properly.

Sounds like a sensible to live.

Of course, being in the military environment, we have quite a lot of unionized "public servants" as well. And no matter how useless they prove to be, unless they "go postal", there's no unloading them. One reason that I have very little use or time for today's unions.

Did you get involved in the fuss of the last few hours I have replied to the open letter below in the following way. Please read and comment as you and RG are involved. I dont want to know who said what as it is not a matter to be dissused it is the itilacs job to say and do what is required no one else ....

I AM SORRY BUT I have not had it proven to my satisfaction (you may be happy but I am not) just what they are guilty of, and I have not been appointed as judge the Italics do this.

Yes I agree I am NOT HAPPY about the situation and it needs sorting out, but not buy us. I owe lil a lot but I can’t believe she would seek to involve us, especially as we don’t know 100% of the facts.

Yes I support Lil and hers 100% but I do cant support taking matters into our own hands it is not our place, yes I want something done but I do not see it as my place to demand the type of or style punishment. And when the Italics decide whatever they decide I will accept it

I saw that post a while ago. And simply, for the continued priviledge of frequenting this site, I don't think it adviseable for RG or I to speak up. There are 'blessed people' and there are 'marginal pariah people' around here. And I know which camp I would be seen in if another blow-up happened any time soon.

Neutral IS very hard at times, I'm certainly aware.

No, we have been threatened with snow a number of times, but since a freak inch or so on October 13th (Friday, of course) nothing has stayed. Just some random flurries amid the assorted rains and drizzles. No Indian Summer for us this year.

Do you get the traditional car burying proper snow that we are told you get, Alaska deep -40 and that sort of stuff. Or is it farily normal...

Nawwww, not in this part of Ontario. Because of lakes and some interesting geology, many storms part and by-pass us. We might see an inch, or a foot of snow at a time, but not every day for a week or more. As it was where I grew up. And the temps will dip to -20 a number of times, usually in January and February.

The unique weather, and minimal bird migratory paths, is in fact why this place was chosen for the Air Base.
