...

Sometimes, i wish i weren't so private a person. A lot of things happen to me i don't talk about. Perhaps i should. Perhaps i wouldn't be as depressed if i were more open. I think finding the person to talk to first may be the hardest step. I haven't that courage. Part of the most painful times of my life have been when i was alone, being so solitary in my thoughts is part of me. How does one change something that is so large a part of yourself? I am not sure if i want to. I've always preferred the company of a few close friends than many aquaintantces. Unforturately, most of the people i have close relationships with do not live near me. With my preference for face-to-face dialogs and my dislike of phones, that makes it harder to talk.

Nick is in town

Not the man in the red suit, the greek australian that lives in So. California. Anyway, he is on vacation and came 'round to visit the LLG. Today he went sightseeing with Bob and tonight we worked on the "Package Level 0" for the lojban.org site. We are working on getting an information package together for people who want to know about lojban. We are trying to become more active in generating interest within the community. The Package levels aredifferent levels of information that we send out or make available on the site. Level 0 is the introduction package. Level 3 or so contains the information to teach lojban. The LLG has had package levels before. We think they need updateing and reworking so that is our goal for now.

quite a disappointment

I have been asking for more hours at work. I've been asking for awhile. Finally, i've been offered a different schudule-- 5-9pm, m-f. That's it. Last week i was told full time. This week, half time when the company is dead. All the work is in the mornings. The evening is full of clean up, fixing all the problems of the day. Easy when the day shift does their work, but since the company's training policy is non-existant and most of the people in my area can not do their jobs, people don't do their work. I'm not gonna play baby sitter for a bunch of apathetic slackers for the sake of a few hours. Not worth it.

More reason to leave to do better work. I hope i'm ready.
