Caught four. All except Mercury. It was too low down by the time I got to the top of Winnie Hill tonight.

Moon/Saturn Occultation

20.03 pm
Watched Saturn from about a half of a degree out until the Moon passed in front. Full occultation began at 10.03pm but was behind haze/cloud and low down on the horizon by the time for it to re-appear.
Fascinating!

Caught Venus, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter plus a very crescent moon.
Shadowed partof the moon was just illuminated by Earthshine.
Too late to catch Mercury. too low down and in cloud.
