Significant? If so, how?

Ah, well now you've narrowed it down it shall be easy for me to work out what you're talking about smiley - smiley

The Dover Boat was actually found whilst digging an underpass for a dual-carriageway - neither bog-like or technically underwater - in waterlogged ground yes - but not underwater. (It is a pretty fantastic boat actually - and so old... even older than you (ha ha - cheap shot)).

It seems these boats are just buried everywhere, such that I can so easily get mine confused with possibly several others.

That wasn't a very good cheap shot. They didn't have boats yet when I was a kid. smiley - smiley

You rowed around on bits of rough log? I thought I detected Neanderthal influences to your prose smiley - smiley

It's the typos, isn't it? I could have just one big hairy eyebrow for all you know. smiley - smiley

Post 65

Frizzychick

You mean there's a chance you don't have just one enormous eyebrow? Mu delusions are shattered smiley - smiley

We didn't need boats when I was a kid, as bodies of water hadn't been invented yet.

Frizzychick

Aah, of course smiley - smiley - no oceans - the motivation for the invention of the bicycle.

Significant? If so, how?

Post 68

Nick O`Teen

Nope, no bikes. Me, and all of my friends were but single-celled organisms back when I was younger. No calendars, lousy conversation, etc. smiley - smiley

My, and over all those years you have developed so far ... smiley - smiley

(is there a smiley for a really cheeky and slightly sarcastic grin?)

I don't know if H2G2 has an image for it, but I've always used smiley - winkeye for that.

Yes, I have developed rather a bit since then. Two arms, three legs, one eyebrow, a waggy little tail for denoting excitement, and fins for swimming. smiley - smiley

Hmmm, I guess they do have an image for it, but it doesn't look as sarcastic as the original ASCII.

Significant? If so, how?

Post 72

Frizzychick

I think the ASCII version is actually a bit scary - am I the biggest wimp or what smiley - smiley

Post 73

Frizzychick

Oh yeah, cool fins smiley - winkeye

Post 74

Nick O`Teen

Now that I think about it, the remote mental imagery I may have created concerning my appearance has become just a little unsettling. smiley - smiley

What, you mean the multi-limbed, finned, one eyebrowed, weevil-like semi-canine bald bloke?

NO, surely not smiley - smiley

I look like a veritable Robert Redford compared to that description. smiley - smiley Wait a minute, that goes for just about anybody.

Significant? If so, how?

Post 77

Frizzychick

I think there may be some of our less attractive piscine frineds that fit some of that description (although none with limbs as far as I know).

I can still imagine you as such a creature though smiley - smiley

Post 78

Nick O`Teen

Hmmm, well, I guess it's all spilled milk now, isn't it? The damage is done. The imagery is set and there's no shifting it. Phoo.

Significant? If so, how?

Post 79

Frizzychick

Well, how about a multi-limbed, finned, one eyebrowed, weevil-like semi-canine not-bald bloke with an uncanny resemblance to Robert Redford?
