Hello again.
Rikiiboy Posted Dec 23, 2007
Now's the time
Too gather around
To bring peace and love
To all that we've found
A time to share
A time to care
Time to declare
To all there
To give,not to receive
To live,not greive
To thank and believe
Love's always on our sleeve.
Hello again.

A star has gone out in our sky tonight
In Benazir we've lost her guiding light
Sacrificed for some political gain
By a marionette, of the insane
For trying to set her people free
Another daughter dies,for liberty.
Hello again.

Sweet sorrow
You may comfort me now
For tomorrow
I may not know how
How, I may pass
From old to new
For alas
Im nothing, without you.
Hello again.

Today is the dawn of a brand new year
Nothing will change our motives?unclear
Poverty,avarice,want and need
Will leave a void, none can feed
Pestilence,hatred venom and war
Will devour our race even more
Save the babies let them breathe
In a world where none deceive
Global warming,rising seas
The destruction of morals,urban disease
Empty bellies too weak to fight
Crushed by the boots of might
Yes the question Im asking here
Is there any such thing as: a happy new year?
Hello again.

My love is not like a rose
Its more like a thorn
That protects the stem
Until the rose is born
When the last petal
Has blown all away
I shall have the mettle
For a bloom another day
Each year I shall wait
For your fragrange new
For I have no choice my fate
Is ever a part of you.
Hello again.

Hi Polly,I went to the docs even blanker look off him than the last time,he sent me to see the nurse, luckily later after yet another appointment,I went to see dracul her(for blood letting/tests)and after an armful I barely escaped with my life.
So now I've got to wait for an appointment for a scan on my stomach.yuck!I hate to think what that entails, still it could have been my head they where scanning, but I could have told them they'd find nothing in there.
Hello again.

Hi dear Rick.
I am glad that you have been to see your GP. Have you been given any idea as to what could possibly be the matter?
If it is just a scan that you are having, then it should be quite straight forward. I've had just about every kind of exploratory thing done to me~~some not so pleasant! But I survived the indignities of them!!
Are you still feeling as poorly as you did before Christmas?
You have made me laugh at your 'blood-letting'! I really hate having blood tests, and I always have to sit or lie down when having them just in case I faint!
Rick, I know how men don't like going to hospitals or GPs, but it is very necessary. If you need a push to get you there, I shall personally do it!
I really hope that, once you have had these tests, something positive will be done. I must go to hospital next week. And I have been given sea-sickness tablets for my dizziness!!!! They are not doing any good at all. I'm not surprised either!
Anyway, please take care of yourself. You will be fine with the tests or scan. Trust me. The last time I had to stay in hospital, about a year ago, I didn't want to go home! The little cottage hospital(very plush and renovated) was like a lovely hotel. The cottage-hospital in Lym is much the same.
I'm so glad that you have been a very brave boy and have sought help from your GP.
Polly

I'm off to bed-to read my book. I meant to ask if your GP had given you any antibiotics recently?
They have been mentioning a nasty tummy-bug on the radio news. I hope I don't go and catch the blinking thing. I meant to buy some hand-wash/spray(the same as is used in hospitals now) from Boots' chemist yesterday. I looked for it but couldn't find it. I'll try in an independent chemist tomorrow. I seem to pick up every germ that dares to cross my path.
You will have to be careful too, Rick, whilst you are under-par.
Keep warm, and take care. Golly, I'm so tired. It must be the cold air that is making me very weary.
Sweet dreams.
Polly

Precious sleep why do you avoid me so?
So discontent,can ferment,inside me grow
Every single thought, you present,display
So that nought can seperate, my dismay
Like building blocks, shock, tantalise my soul
Depriving my sombulatic goal
While brainstorms show a galactic glow
Sleep deprivation wounds me so
Eyes closed, ceases to fool ones brain
That when sleep lacks,brains drain.

Life is like an open book
The older we get, more pages are took
There baby days and a tottering walk
The gurgling as we learn to talk
Numbers,squares, alphabets and rhymes
Childrens games happy times
Junior school energy abound
Marvelling at all the friends you've found
These times are short,in stages
Requiring very few pages
As your stride increases
Your skin developes tiny creases
Big school makes us all feel older
Bigger responsibilites to shoulder
Yet before we know we're walking away
School that was soooo yesterday
Off to work nervous, head up high
Then we're cocky,we can fly
Pretty soon we fall in love
Then you're together as a glove
Mom and Dad dislike your other half
Yet,years later together they'll laugh
We all know we dont choose who we'll fuss
Because love does'nt know why it chooses us
In time if everything falls apart
Time will mend your broken heart
The thing to remember at any stage
Is that when today's over, tomorrows a blank page.
Hello again.

The road to sorrow
Is a busy street
Constantly pounded
By many feet
A river of tears
Either side
All in a gully
A mile wide
Pain and despair
Loss and fear
Walk side by side
All, welcome here
Love and hope
Stolen and lost
The only price
In human cost.
Hello again.

There's nothing quite like
A walk in the rain
A time to digress
wash away strain
The feel the chill
As every drop
Trickles down the chin
Plip,plop
Each footstep splashes
I can feel my knees are damp
Now Im almost skipping
Glowing,as a lamp
Foolish thoughts
Childhood dreams
An inner smile
At wet moon beams
Racing clouds
Cut across a sky
The rain has gone
And so have I.
Hello again.

Just in case you take a peep at your computer at 4am, I wish you a safe journey to Bath. I haven't been asleep yet and it is now 02.36am. I can't bear the humming from the generator in the hotel. It gives me a headache every night.
Anyway, have a good day in Bath. Heavy rain is forecast.
Polly

All the machinations of man
wiped on a blank page
Still,is this night
Of the purest white
Lamposts dotted
Like candles on an iced cake
The roads intered
Motor cars sit like fried eggs
bulging, immobile,silent
The square boxed dwellings
Glow with a yellow sheen
Challenging the swirling night
Peace for the ears
Peace from the muffled windows
A welcome pause, silence.
