Hello again.

Perhaps it's time to contemplate
Why our world is in such a state
When those that've passed we inter their bones
Or burn them whole and mark tombs with stones
Because it's a thing that humans do
The same will occur to me and you
Yet we never let them die
I will try and ask you all why
Why do we let the dead rule
Did we not educate ourselves at school
Do we need to follow a well worn path
Or start again with our own new graph
Where old books that preach,differentiate
Are buried too with those bones of hate?
Hello again.

Violence is brutal and contagious
Infectious and outrageous
It turns the wise into fools
Smiles into leering drools
Revenge becomes spontanious
Sanity determines our fate
Revenge must always dissipate
When ones mind locks on
All sanity has gone
Without reason there's only hate.
Hello again.

I dont need no fancy card
On Father's day from you
I know you're always busy
Doing what I haven't a clue
Yet you are only doing
The same things as me
Living life from day to day
The rest is history
I wish I was touchy feely
And always wore a smile
But me with a cheeky grin
You know that's not my style
I know it seems to others
We are not close at all
You put the stars in my eyes
When you were nothing much at all
So I can wait until I see you
But I've no idea when
I can wait as long as it takes
As long as I see you again.
Hello again.

Only when we are young
Can we be exploited so
When we are among
The wolves and do not know
Wisdom is the eye
That sees all things new
For it can ask why
Should I not hurt you?
Hello again.

Goodbye Michael Joe
I guess you had to go
There can be no doubt
Your candle will not dowt
For that final cruise
Lay down your dancing shoes
Next to your chiller
Now here comes the thriller
When we're getting down
It makes the old un's frown
You could pass the test
Moonwalking with the best
Watching bodies pop
jumping around non stop
Sweating with the beat
Making us move our feet
The final curtain
The doctor makes certain
The heart beats retreat
We've had a window seat
To you and the crew
We thank you for the view
Hello again.
Rikiiboy Posted Jun 29, 2009
Life is intoxicating
Because with evey breath
We are degenerating
Closer to death
The bones of the wise
Lay next to the dumb
Because they realise
Without feelings we're numb
Hello again.

Below is the ground
With the heavens above
None can survive
only on love
Money can only buy
What money can afford
So money is evil
Aint that the truth Lord
The poor are puppets
Strung up by the rich
Who need marionettes
To scratch every itch.
Hello again.
Rikiiboy Posted Jun 30, 2009
Fear is my shield
When I cannot see
For it wont yeild
Till the end of me.
Hello again.
Rikiiboy Posted Jul 3, 2009
My tears are mine
The reason why I cry
Is mine and mine alone
They wouldn't fit your eye
You think you know love
Yet it starts so small
Turning from affection
Into a fireball
Just like tendrils
That reach out,touch
Love is another heartbeat
You cant get too much
Hello again.
Rikiiboy Posted Jul 11, 2009
Orange street lights lend their glow
Upon the urban wolves below
Lupine beasts that feast on streets
Attacking every heart that beats
Waiting for those who stoop and tread slow
To beg intimidate or borrow
The defenceless who lack their growl
When well rehearsed packs do prowl
Easy prey while watching their feet
Heads lowered such easy meat
The ugly mugger will ne'er work again
While there are such rewards to gain
Hello again.

Our nanny state doth wish you well
Is that a thermometer in yer gob I cant tell?
Dont smoke dont drink or eat too much food
Dont race in the car 'cus yer using the crude
Dont save yer monies for the care home fund
'cus if yer pop yer clogs early there's no refund
They'll just flog yer home 'n' put yer in care
You'll be thinkin' that you're Dan Dare
When yer brain is slowly turning to mush
You wont understand any need to rush
You'll to too far gone to get to Digitas
So no one'll care about yer dirty ass
The carer's'll come in for minutes a day
Taking all yer 'ard earned savings away
The family'll be moaning yer eatin' too much grub
So are you a member of the 'urry up 'n' die club?
Hello again.

There was some truth in what Nietzsche said, Rikii - "Some die too soon, but most die too late." It's not much fun growing old unless you're healthy and wealthy.
Anyone can die at any time
Old people and young people
And people in their prime
Suddenly get blown away
Without reason or rhyme
'Cause nobody's too young to die
And nobody's too old to cry
And there's no use in wondering why
It happens all the time
Hello again.

Books are like many tongues
They tell many stories
If we read only one book
Tongues learn one book
If we read many books
We see one race the human race.

Tonight the sky is darker
We have lost a leading light
We are grateful just for seeing
Bobby,was sheer delight
We know now there's a space
No other, can ever fill
Bobby,leaves a memory
Of football with a thrill
When beaten by the hand of god
He never lost his smile
Sport is never about winning
But taking part with style.RIP.
Hello again.

Who'd have thought a few bits of wood and a ball
Would have a mesmorising effect to enthral
Or that this game that could be played on a beach
Would require masses of practise to reach
A standard where only professionals can earn
Their right to do their country a turn
Who decided the length of each stump
And to make a grass pitch with ne'er a lump
Of course there is the stance at the crease
Where bat taps foot till his innings doth cease
Where a man in white in a big floppy hat
Has the final word when it comes to"ooooooowwwwwwwwwzzzzzzzzzzaaaaattttt!"......
Hello again.

If sin is the face of evil
Laughing at anothers despair
Or watching a child starve
Then we have all been there
Charity does'nt begin at home
It first starts with the heart
It does'nt just mean caring
It means I must take part.
Hello again.

Compassion?
Magrahi steps off the plane
Heading for Lybian soil again
There's is no spring in his gait
He's not got too long to wait
A few cheers even Scottish flags
Are waving as behind he lags
Supported by his walking stick
Their hero's deception's done the trick
Gaddafi lets him kiss his hand
All had gone as he'd planned
Scotland as ever land of the brave
Had freed Gaddafi's patsy slave
Not as a martyr But as a dying man
Home to live every second he can
This time there were no banners of hate
No burning effergies to celebrate
For if this man was family and coming home to you
Would you all not be waiting to greet him too?
(sorry I have posted this here but I dont have a copy and it may get modded on the other thread.Rick)
Hello again.

Sitting at home with my cardie on
The sun's gone down the heat's all gone
Fiddling channels on the TV set
Found nothing to entertain me yet
So Straight away the mind turns to food
Crisps,cheese anything crude
Which of course has to be swallowed with beer
Which maybe coarse but it brings cheer
The perfect solution to being bored
When fancy wine one can't afford
So if I can't find anything else to watch
Feeling brave I'll sneak a nip of her scotch
Hello again.
Rikiiboy Posted Aug 30, 2009
Think you are hearing voices?
Well,you are wrong
For it's not voices
It's a song
It's angels singing
You hear every gong
Your precious life's
Found where you belong?
The sweetest tune
Of those you're among
For it's Gods love
That's made you strong.
