Can I also ask you questions about being ACE's as I'm not 100% sure of my role......

I would like to volunteer being a Sub-ed. I have written a few approved guide entries and I am bound to have more time now.
I think I could do lots of nice things in this position.
Thank you very much for considering me.

I've written 5 guide entries and so far 2 have been rejected, still waiting for the others to be approved!

Thanks Jasper and Katsy, I've added you both to my list and will get back to you when we go through the next round of recruitment.

I'd like to volunteer my services. I actually have sub-editing experience which might just come in handy here.

If the next round isn't too soon. As I can see some major upheavels coming up with potentially new job and new house put my name forward. I think my experience getting things approved speaks for itself. I've only ahd a couple of rejections and I seem to have submitted those concerned when drunk. I'm more discerning now.

I too would like to offer my services as subbie.
*bow*
(However, I'm going to be in the wild deserts of Israel for five weeks this summer and as such will probably not be on hand for the activities (gone starting july the 5th, returning august the ninthish). Perhaps this disqualifies me but I know I will be within reach of a computer almost all of the time after that, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE grant me your pity?)

My services are still on offer (and I believe, my hat still in the ring where I tossed it). All you have to do is call!

Ooops, I'm a little late
Anyway, I would really, really love to be a sub-editor. I haven't had any approved entries (although I have contributed to one). I'm working on a few that are going to be submitted though, as the summer has brought me a lot more time.
Point number one out of the way Point number two, I've already had experience at editing as I worked on my school yearbook last year as part of the junior team, and worked on some of the articles we did as unofficial editor.
Thirdly, this would be great work experience, as my ultimate goal is to get into journalism and editing. Plus I would love to do it- I really enjoy editing other people's work.
Ok, I wrote more than I meant to, but I hope that just shows I'm really keen
*note to self- stop rambling*
Ok, my name's down if you want it...

Sign me up!
So far I've only submitted a few articles to the guide, but I think I'd make a good editor. Hey, I got Honours in grade 12 English.
Besides, I want to do my part to reduce the lag time for submitted articles. I've got two in the queue, and I'm getting impatient!

I'm volunteering to be a sub-editor. I've submitted six entries. None have been approved yet, but that's because I've only been with h2g2 for three weeks. I was a section editor at my college newspaper, which had a readership of about 6,000. I'd love to help reduce the size of the queue.
