I went with Gadgets in the end, having begun with an effort for Blue Moon. I'll put Blue Moon on my pf too.

I swithered with this one too - did End of the Line (which seems to be misunderstood by everyone) and put Gadgets in my pf. I think I should have done it the other way round.

Karjon,
maybe you could readjust your entry, seeing as scoring hasn't started?
(Never mind the fact that I haven't even penned one yet - BUT I will, and later. Just in here for a mo and do want the throw something in before midnight - then I'll turn into a ).
Again, sorry I'm the 'Last in Line, AGAIN - nut I'll have my 'End of the Line' in by then; promise.

I'd say it was well worth it - it's not every day you get a chance to bring a new word into the world.
Anyway, seriously, if it means that much to you, I can always change it. At least it's not 'humourous'.

so karjon, I guess it's a bit like 'dither' - is it local dialect or anything?

Enigmatic1 Posted Feb 14, 2005
I don't care, I'll just sit here feeling smug in the knowledge that you cheated
And it's not humorous? I was most amused by it...

Don't dither, come hither. Or thither, whatever, just don't swither when they differ.

Weaver Posted Feb 14, 2005
So, are you suggesting there are times when you sit there not feeling smug?

karjon Posted Feb 14, 2005
Aye, swithering is another wan i' they Scottish words that Ah use wi'oot 'hinkin.
Sorry about that.
And just to explain something else about my End of the Line that might make it clearer for those who don't know - 'the last scion' is supposedly the last descendant of Christ.
Still might take it away and put Gadgets in instead. Gadgets won't score well but it's a lot clearer.
Cheers
K - away for a swither.
