I've been chopping wood for the fire and making stacks of the stuff for christmas, our cooker is of the wood burning virety and needs quiet a bit of wood over christmas so i got around 3 ton of the stuff!

and also the dogs (GOD BLESS'UM) have been good too also my daughter has today been a bit of a nausey mare but thats understandable as she is taking after her mother who in her infinight wisdom thought she could jiggle 3 bits of wood and using her head to stop one peice falling on the ground made me laugh out loud, which i fear made the situation worse

Cold Mountain. Have you read it? It is a better than average novel. The narrative is very well done. It's rather lyrical.

Small town America. 10,000 people give or take a few. Temperate climate. Ozark foothills. Mostly Broadleaf trees rather than evergreens. Former mining area, so there is evidence of mining. Hilly. Small farms.
