Oo yes We had one of those, swirly things that would move if you stared at them long enough.

It's not a monster ruse of some sort is it?

You could be on to something there you know.

Seeing as you were only *allowed* to jump from one particular circle to another to get across the room, or else! Maybe, just maybe...the twisty circles were mean't to hypnotise us in some strange and mysterious way in order to make us forget the correct sequence of jumpy circles, therefore enabling the monsters to administer the ...or else.

Or one day you'd get there and most of the twisty circles would be gone and there'd just be one path of circles to jump along and it would lead straight to under the bed!

Or the cupboard

Or the fridge

Oh dear. Time for bed.
