What kind of Creationism does this person who called you an idiot believe in? It seemed like you are saying it had religious overtones - what religion? In my opinion, saying "Anyone who believes in evolution is an idiot" obviously goes against many of the principles of both Christianity and possibly also some forms of Judaism at least.

It is possible to argue for days on end about the validity or lack of evidence presented by both evolutionary and creation science. (I know this because I've done it, and it gets nowhere)

So, I would say instead, "Only an idiot would say that there aren't very intelligent people on both sides of the Creation/Evolution debate."

Reorganized. After Joseph Smith Jr. died, the LDS are the group that followed Brigham Young out to Utah and got involved in polygamy and celestial marriage and lots of other crazy stuff.

The people who became the RLDS were the ones who stayed where they were until Joseph Smith III became the prophet of the Reorganization in 1860.
