TEA MAKING!!
Posted Sep 30, 2003
The humble cup of tea .
The ultimate question to making the perfect cuppa , and it's quite simple, do you add the milk first or last?
I personally add it last, as I believe it makes for a better cuppa and better flavour.
Cuppa , Cuppa .......

Cult blanked at the Emmy's.
Posted Sep 22, 2003
Right, firstly I apologise for the rant....
But, come on, is it not about time that the Emmy Academy ( of complete idiots) realised that cult shows are a valid source of entertainment for millions of people, and yet year, after year, after year and so on, it is totally ignored...can someone tell me .... WHY!!! I would really like to know.
This year at the Emmy's they even had a special reality (soding) TV award...PLEASE...and yet cult has been going for over 40 years, if not longer, shows like "The Avengers", "The Prisoner" and yet still no recognition. Perhaps I'm just annoyed that Buffy didn't even get a look in again.
I know some of you will say "well we got one for "Hush", but..HELLO..1 out of 144, again I say ...P--LEASE... I think that these, so called academy's need a severe kick up the ****.
Come on you academy guys, sort it out, this is getting to the point of totally rediculous and pretty pathetic really.
End of soapbox moment.....

Why you like BtVS???
Posted Sep 21, 2003
I knew from the very beginning that I would love this show and even if this sounds a bit daft, I knew it was going to be good before I even saw the very first episode. They say it's funny what people remember, well I remember seeing it advertised in the TV guide and thinking, 'with a name like that, it has to be good', and I wasn't wrong.
Then 6pm, Thursday night (I think, see what I mean about remembering things) and cue music, and believe it or not, I was hooked before a word was even uttered, because then I saw Sarah Michelle Gellar and .....DAMN.....that was all I needed.
Then it just got better and better and better and I'll finish by saying. There is no and has been no better show on TV, and as much as I hate to say it, there probably will never be another show like it.
....And the reason is that,in my opinion, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BAD BUFFY EPISODE....
So why don't you tell me what drew you to BtVS and what affect it has had on you (If any)?????

Best Episodes!
Posted Sep 18, 2003
OK, I'm siting here with a huge list of best character episodes, trying to sort it out so you can see, what I believe, what character was best in what episode. Now I have a headache...there's just so many episodes to choose from, but anyway here I go.
BUFFY: Not as many as I thought there would be, but still difficult, because she was so geat in the episodes I picked, like 'Helpless', 'Anne', 'The Prom' and 'Earshot', but my best would be 'Beer Bad', how hilariously funny and Buffy just made me laugh "Parker bad", "beer foamy".
WILLOW: OMG I hope I pick the right one, or someone might kill me. Well 'The Wish' was great and 'Dooplegangland', but purely for different reasons..MMMM..but actually this ones quite easy, it has to be 'Two To Go', "Oh! Buffy, you really need to have every square inch of your arse kicked" and even though not from that episode "Bored now".
XANDER: The Xand man, this is really quite difficult. He was great in all these episodes and just so funny, like 'The Replacement', 'Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered' and hey! How cool was he in 'Grave', but yes it has to be 'The Zeppo' for me, the gang saving the world while Xander has his own little adventure.
GILES: Mr Knocky outty, man of the quick quip and the funny one liner "Your both in a magic shop, and you can't think what Tara might like for her birthday...I do believe you two are profoundly stupid", well there can be only one 'Band Candy', go Giles, you old dog.

..And the rest
Posted Sep 2, 2003
...Well, there are so many other characters, I'm just going to pick the ones who I think deserve a mention...
Dawn, the sister to Buffy and the mystical key that opens the gateways to all demon dimensions. She was made into human form in an attempt by monks to protect The Key from the evil god Glory, she has a normal sisterly relationship with Buffy, fighting, arguing etc, and feels that Buffy is over-protective.
Faith, the Slayer who took over once Kendra had been killed. As the Slayer she believed that she could do whatever she wanted, even going as far as killing humans, it is pressumed that she was bought up on the streets and therefore found it hard to accept the Buffy family, and thought that Buffy was holyer than thow.
She became evil, taking sides with the Mayor, which ended in a big fight with Buffy leaving her in a coma. After several months in a coma she awoke wth only one thing on her mind, destroying Buffy's life, but after spending some time in Buffy's shoes (literally), she ran off to L.A. to seek help from Angel.
Tara, the girlfriend and soul-mate of Willow. She, like Willow, started out as a shy walflower, but soon after becoming Willow's girlfriend she started to bloom, helping Willow through her magic addiction, she came to a nasty end when a stray bullet from Warren killed her causing Willow to fall off the wagon...big time.
Joyce, mother to Buffy and Dawn. The most understanding Mother of all time, she was not made aware of Buffy's destiny for almost three years.
Riley, Buffy's third lover and the one that she hoped was Mr Joe Normal, he turned out to be far from that.
Oz, Willows boyfreind, Werewolf and lead guitarist of "Dingo's ate my baby", Mr Cool of the gang, he broke up with Willow after discovering that it was her that bought the werewolf out in him.
Anya, Xander's girlfriend and ex vengeance demon, she is over 1000 years old and says exactly what she thinks. A great replacement for Cordy
...If you think I missed anyone, let me know, but as I said these are the ones I believe deserve a mention
