Katherine - WW2 Team
Hello there,
I was Producer on WW2 People's War from October 2003 through to the end of the project in spring 2006. During that time, over 48,000 stories were added to the site and an amazing archive of wartime testimony was compiled, contributed by the people that were there and lived through some of the most momentous years of the twentieth century. Thousands of volunteers and organisations across the country helped gather these stories, and the archive is a tribute to their dedication and commitment.
It has been a real privilege to work on WW2 People's War. I hope that future generations will find and use this archive, and appreciate what the wartime generation lived through, and the effort they made to build this site. Good luck!
