I just played Guitar in front of real people..........Honest

I broke a duck today and went to the local blues jam, Les Paul in hand, with the full intention of playing in front of people and entertaining them. Seemingly I did too, even my singing was accepted and welcomed. I used to do this all the time (once a week for 4 years with my own band) but stopped for reasons I now don't remember, let alone understand. It was great, I met old friends, talked, joked and drank. I think I'll do it again next week too

Off for hols

Hey folks
I'm off for a week on my holidays, going to the south coast, where hopefully it will be cooler than the disgusting heat we are suffering here in london. I'll see you all soon when I get back!

Ah, the internet is a wonderful thing!
I am fairly excited because hopefully fairly soon I will have a site on the net where you can hear my music! Or at least my guitar playing. I have found a site which offers unlimited free MP3 hosting, so, barring problems, I will post a link here as soon as my legal confirmations come through.
All this excitement comes along with the fact that both Buddy Guy and John Mayall are in town next month (8th and the 25th respectively) and I have tickets for both!
