Introduction - sort of
I've finally achieved my lifetime ambition of being a researcher for the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy! I can only hope that, once I get my feet wet here (figuratively speaking), I will be able to contribute a little more than Ford Prefect managed to do in his report on earth (and, for the record, I'm not sure it's even mostly harmless, but that's another matter).
About me: I'm a 44 year old woman, living in New York, near the Hudson River, in the US. Used to be a lawyer until I couldn't stand it anymore, and now am a writer and parent (of an adolescent daughter, who, fortunately for me and my husband, is an exemplary child and has yet to drive us around the bend), owned by two cats.
