Opticalillusion- media mynx life would be boring without hiccups Started conversation Jan 26, 2009
I've been watching the stretcher recently in and noticed how nice it is to have a group that is so varied in experience and see them blossom. I have also set to thinking about the challenges that have a risen so far and realised that there's a couple of old Entries that I could have brushed up in line with them. to all I say
It takes quite a bit to make me and last night I did just that. You see I was watching an ice skating performance whereby the performance went a little wrong. In the car driving back home I suddenly thought why not start a thread where people can say what has amused them and pass on the smiles and happiness in this bleak time so how about it? Come on people what makes you smile?

What always makes me smile are babies and or toddlers, if you smile they smile and it is so infectious. Another thing that makes me smile is when I hear birds sing, or being with cats or dogs.

Thats a good one- i was gonna say pretty girls-but that wins hands down.
Well i was thinking this while hanging my washing out: mime!
I mean: the art of mime-it makes me smile to myself thinking about it; wheras babies ( and pretty girls-usually )make me smile like.
Its like dancing-we can all move, to some extent i hope, and sometimes its just nice to move through the air , like its a warm shallow ocean: wave your hands in the air like you just dont care, like an Indian dancer, or: a mime artist.

I passed a car today with a big fluffy grey/white dog sticking it's head out of the passenger window. That made me smile.

Oh and heres another amusing snippet. I was on the phone to my boyfriend when he entered the cellar and said what's happened to all the spirits they are all over the place. Turns out he was talking about rather than the I was thinking about.

hi elentari
-
you may already know, that by holding the shift down, and pressing the number two, you get the att sign.
-
to see if there is also an hidden euro, try the rest of the 1 to 0 with the shift down.
-
im using an infared remote k/board, so it doent work for me on the box the same way,( €€€€ ), to get mine i have to use the fn and the number 4 jim

Jim, my keyboard shows me the symbols I get from pressing shift and the number keys. I do have a Euro key, it just doesn't seem to work.
I'll be using Opti's method, I reckon.

Even when life is rubbish, I always smile and try to remain cheerful .

Animals make me smile, they do the funniest of things . Have you noticed that some of them look like they have a big smile on their faces!

hi elentari
-
it might be that the windows you us are before the euro sign was brought in.so the keyboard setting at either english or usa, wont acsept the euro sign.
-
could be wrong, but sounds logical.my k board isnt pc, its for a cablebox, that was updated a few months back, and the euro works now. jim

What makes me
For starters
Thinking of my 13 grandchildren , a bright, sunny day , hearing an old friend's voice after a long absence , old pictures of a & Toy I used to own & babies in general , my neighbor's unusual attire , & pics of a son-in-law with wacked-out headgear
