Right here's a dilemma....what's a girl to wear for Christmas? I have a green halterneck dress but it's not really the type you could wear to keep warm and I wore it last Christmas, but haven't worn it for a year since. Should I wear this or discover another?

Hi Opti I like polo neck dresses and I have seen a wrap dress in a damart catalogue and it is green in colour, perhaps a change would be a good idea or you could add accessories to make it look different.

Sounds like many of you would opt for a new dress...saw one I like but at £250 perhaps I ought to make my own.

at cheeky prof's idea....my bf's work colleagues were impressed by my dancing and dress last year but not sure they'd be happy with the christmas suit idea

...Opti, with dresses like that, I generally add a white polo neck underneath to make it warmer! It also has the added bonus of making it look like a different dress.

If you have the time though, this is a good excuse to have a look round. I recommend TK Max for nice dresses.

I had a look in TK Maxx but they only had little ruffle dresses. I like those in Debenhams though the red and black one is adorable.

why do women always want to spend a small fortune on a dress.

take a day going round the shops, and odds are you will find one at the right price.

there is a show with twiggy, on altering things, and dress swapping, no i havent watched it, it was mentioned on the one show on bbc lol

I have an idea which concerns my old red dress and a black bow round the top and a triangle of black down the back of the dress.

come to think of it, if you are going to a fancy dress party at anytime, the thick ribbon, and a large bow, could work lol, you could go as a xmas present, just dont let anyone open the ribbon lol, yeh its an idea lol. jim xx

err you could put a xmas Carol around your neckbut it would depend on how heavy Carol is though
