Do you think many people have read Kafka? I've read very little Kafka, and it's so long ago that I don't recall a lot.

"I don't think anybody questions the need for moderation in online foroa"
i do
can't we just leave threads we don't like? ignore postings we don't like? ignore words we don't like?
do we really need big brothers - and now even robot big brothers (as in "filters")?

Well, I am in favour of reactive moderation. With the tightening of the filters it seems to get more and more like a premoderation, though, and that is horrible. It's not always easy to leave threads were somebody posts insults. people really shouldn't get away with foul language, flaming and trolling. If there was no moderation at all, they would, though.

Boy, I go away for a couple of hours...
I like your challenge, KB. Let's keep it under 1500 words, though - Kafka was terse.
Bel, I am astounded. German literature without Kafka is like Duesseldorf without mustard...
Kafka was a Vogon abductee with repressed memory syndrome.

premoderating/filtering is censoring
