h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

We're back from a FANTASTIC meet.

It didn't matter that we caught the wrong bus this morning, cause it meant there were no stairs to use when changing fromunderground to S Bahn (although it was slower).

The clothes I had chosen were *much* too warm, so I went and bought a lighter top.

We only bought a ticket to Mannheim for MMF (not a return ticket), but fortunately he checked *before' we were on the train back.

MMF went in the right direction in Mannheim, but I thought it was wrong, so went back upstairs only to then find we needed to be downstairs after all.

Apart from that, everything went perfectly fine.

The company was great, and we had the best weather you can imagine.

Thanks to everyone for making my day special.

Glad the day went well.

It was a wonderful day. Ten people (for most of the time), so we managed to talk to everybody. Tc had planned everything perfectly, an I'd love to go back for their planned picnic tomorrow, but that's not feasible.

I want aB'El off you, I HAVE to get over one day

Where are they picnicking?

Prof, they won't let you come without a police escort.

I think there is a park near the television tower in Mannheim where they intend to picnic.

Well, I've had my breakfast.

We're continuing the Belfast meet this morning - I'm about to go and get the others and have brunch at Ruby Tuesdays before visiting Carrickfergus castle.

'I wish I was in Carrickfergus...'

Sheesh. The last 24 hours have been a bit tiring . Mal's bus turned out to be fictional, the B&B gave our room to someone else, Bea fell asleep on the last train and wound up in the middle of nowhere...but still, there was good company, good food and good drink so it wasn't so bad.
