You could write a silly one, where the translations aren't correct, but, maybe, amusing. If I was good enough at German I'd do one like that e.g.
Deutsch - [adj] Exceptionally good.
Frankfurter - [n] a long thin person from central western Germany.
Französisch - [adj] Oppinionated and rude, c.f. British.
Nürnberg - [v] Don't mention the war.

That's a idea, but I'm not creative enough for that.

That's true. All we need is somebody to write it.

I think if someone did it for the post then the last two, Französisch and Nürnberg, probably couldn't be included as French people might object to Französisch and from my experience people from Nürnberg get really uppity if you mention the 'w' word in the same sentence as Nürnberg so, while that's the whole point of the joke, it may not go down too well there.

The only problem is the h2g2 policy of giving the *real* translation of non-English words. Having a German word, then a humourous translation, then a *real* translation would sort of ruin the effect, if you see what I mean.

Hmmm, I guess it could be done with footnotes.

You could nag me to write the Guide Entry on growing and cooking with chilli peppers that I've been meaning to do for ages.

Combine them - make an entry on chili peppers that's so good it'll be EotM

There you go, even though I still don't quite know what to do alternatively, we have at least two volunteers here who want to finish writing their guide entrie/write a new entry.

I'm always happy to nominate something good. Especially if it involves chili peppers.

My motivation to write has got up and gone, too. But I still have ideas for future consideration.

I just remembered I'm supposed to be recording some vocal stuff for Skankyrich that I forgot about. Technical difficulties.

That reminded me to look what features this version of Windows has, and it seems to have windows movie maker, so maybe I'll try to experiment with that a bit.
