I did watch it but chose to leave my comment with the clip rather than h2g2.
That's not a political statement or anything, I just figure that comments will be more useful there than here.
I'm not sure *why* I think that though.

Of course, the fact that my YouTube account is in a different name could prove confusing to those that don't know me!

There's no buffering from h2g2, Icy - that's part of the reason why we have to hold our clips on YouTube

That techie talk went straight over my head anyway.
I think 214 views are quite good, considering that there are only so many hootooers.

I've the links and will take a look at all this beeblecasting and aviator stuff later, sounds as though it's well and truly off the ground now from what I've read so far. I've lots to catch up with yet so, as the Terminator says, 'I'll be back'.

Take your time and enjoy.
I'm really quite proud of our Trial version, and Rich's AViator clips that are on the h2g2 aviators youtube account are splendid.

Well, I spoke too early, here's a comment to share with you:
>> I tried to watch the trial clip, but there was so much echo, and the womans voice sounded like a computer simulation. If it was, I would really like to know what software was uses. It was almost a natural flow<<

Hi Bob, I think I'm sorted for now thanks, I'll certainly give you a shout though if this lot gives me any grief.
Bel, I think a lot of the sound quality comments depend on what sound systems people have on their pc's. I've listened to both the Aviator clips and beeblecast now using 2 different sound formats. The one system made it all sounds very professional, the other frankly made them sound very mechanical, almost dalek like.

I haven't a clue what sort of soundcard my PC has, but my loudspeakers as well as my headset are merely basic, and yet it sounds ok to me.

BMT Posted Jan 12, 2008
I can switch between 2 sound systems purely by chance due to some of the second hand bit's I picked up to repair this pc. I literally have to unplug and uninstall the one mind as I get a clash of software otherwise.
Just listened again through headsets ,and again sounds ok, there's some background 'hissing' on a couple of the aviator clips, apart from that they're good.
