PHENOM
In the beginning there was nothing. No. In the beginning there was Darkness. Before any physical beings existed, before any light was shed, there was Darkness and all it behold. Hideous creatures that if seen in light would drive a man insane. Creatures of shadow. Creatures of malice. Among these creatures lived a being that had wisdom in its rage. A being that sought to rule the Darkness. And He did. For a very, very long time. Over the eons the army of Shadows grew, and grew. They became ordered and ruthless in their tactics of death. But they had no-one to fight. They could kill each other, but even they knew that was pointless. So for millenia they sat and waited. Nothing came. Their ruler saw their discontent, and in a rare show of empathy, he felt for them. He felt for them so much he decided to give them an enemy. He stood before his throne and thrust his hands to the blackened sky and called forth, "LET THERE BE LIGHT", and there was light. The creatures of shadow recoiled away from it, fearing what harm it could do and hating it for this. Their cold hearts were filled with instant vengeance to seek and destroy all and any that aid this invader of their dark realm. And that is what they still do to this day. Their leader, the shadow that showed emotion walks the lit earth in search of the answer to 'why'. They, the minions of the Darkness just call him, PHENOM.
