2005 H2G2 Movie Hits the Theatres!
Posted May 1, 2005
It would be hard to imagine that anyone who is a regular reader of or contributor to this sight could be unaware of the momentous event happening at this time.
The long awaited, feared, hoped for, and possibly lusted after, H2G2 movie has hit the theatres. As those in the know have been promising, DNA would not be disappointed.

MYLIIT - The Sequel

Jay,
I have created this thread so that we may discuss our viewpoints at whatever length we like. Please believe though, that I will be willing to discontinue at anytime you ask. (Not that I could force you to respond beyond that point, even if I might want.)
I am glad that I seem to have at least clarified that it is not the same-gender concept that I have a problem with. There are changes taking place weekly that may move this into truly national waters.
Ultimately, we are each only one person, with one person's opinion. The governmental powers will decree the law to be either this or the other. It may never come to a national vote.
When it comes down to it, I'm very happy for those who are going through ceremonies; happy for them because they are getting what they want so badly. I'm not so happy about what it bodes for the language. We'll have to see what effect it has on the legal system and the institution of 'marriage'.

I am first and last in Peer Review!!!
Posted Mar 27, 2004
Wow, I don't suppose this is an absolute first; but I have entries at both ends of Peer Review today, March 27, 2004.
My entry on sleep apneoa is the very last in the Peer Review queue, and my piece about the 42-minute gravity sled is at the first position!
It's all the more astonishing to me as they are the only two pieces that I have in Peer Review at this time.

My 42ism
Posted Jul 29, 2003
This seems like such a harmless and popular semi-requirement:
227087 = ( 2 ( SQRT( 2 + 7 ) + ( 0 ^ 8 ))) * 7 = 42
The best thing about it is that I get to sign it as:
