Hi everyone
My name is Andrea and I've just discovered this wonderful site. I can see that I'm going to be coming back here often.
OK - the basics
I live and work in Dublin City in Ireland. It's a great city to live in and I'm sure somebody must have reported about it already. I'm 30-ish and married to Ray and am of German descent (my immediate family all living in Ireland though). Umm, let's see - I love my job which is PA to a partner in a law firm here in Dub - but please don't ask me anything about law because it's well above my head! Dublin is a coastal city and I love the sea, and the mountains to the south, so there's lots of swimming and walking going on. Dublin is well known for being an excellent place to party which is great for us locals as well as visitors and being such an interesting town, we have lots and lots of said visitors and are truly a multi-cultural milieu.
What else - do you really want to know all my favourites - colour, stone, music etc etc? OK then, if you insist ...
Colour - pale lilac
Stone - Amethyst
Actor - Brad Pitt (well, can you blame me!)
Actress - Ingrid Bergman - she was so beautiful and unfortunate to live in the time she lived in - I mean what did they expect - she was Swedish after all.
Music - love Irish trad and celtic - Christy Moore is great and I love the Dubliners (still mourning Luke Kelly) but also some of the major artists, such as U2, Robbie Williams, Coldplay etc etc.
Interests - crafts - I make my own jewellery - hill-walking, computer games (PS1 only - although I'm looking longingly at PS2's and dropping unsubtle hints), reading - SF&F mostly - travel, music, cinema and home cooking.
Likes: My man, spring, beautiful scenery and peaceful places, Stephen Poliakoff, a new book, a good laugh, my friends to call round unexpectedly, lazy Sundays reading the paper, white sandy beaches, equality.
Dislikes: Pessimists, racism, litter louts. That's it really - I could go on and on but why concentrate on the negative.
