Following our recent (private) conversation, you should be able to see her previous posts in a similar vein. Note how the style is identical ? It is who we said it was !

I can't quote much poetry - being dyslexic and all but I remember my dad chanting one that started
"There's an green-eyed yellow idol
To the north of Katamndu.."
It's all rather sad, really, isn't it?
(Count 'em - 5 lines, no typos, and very possibly no spelling mistakes, either
Sorry for the delay - it took me over 10 minutes to achieve it!)

There's a green eyed yellow idol,
to the North of Kathmandu,
There's a little marble cross beneath the town:
Where a broken hearted woman tends the grave of Mad Carew,
Whilst the Green eye of the little yellow god...
forever gazes down.....
He was known as Mad Carew
By the subs at Kathmandu
(he was hotter than they felt inclined to tell)
but for all his jokes and pranks, he was worshipped in the ranks:
and the colonel's daughter smiled on him as well
How am I doing ?

Sounds about right to me
Most other kids got Peter Rabbit read to them...or Peter Pan.
Maybe you know that other, rather turgid victorian thing that begins
"I remember, I remember, the house where I was born
The (something-or-the-other) came creeping in at Dawn"
I think the upshot was the bloke who was apparently declaiming this ended up getting hung at the end of it.
No bad thing, if you ask me - but then, I'm just ignornat!
Now Roger McGough... HE'S a poet

And this is my Personal Space, thank you.
Unless you've got something to offer to me
like an apology for being so petty as to ridicule my appauling spelling
being dyslexic isn't all it's cracked up to be, and it is rather like mocking a blind man for notbeing able to see, you must admit. It's not terribly Christian, either, but that's by the by -
then I'd appreciate you not invading my space. Please and thank you.
I've already asked you to keep your argument private
But then, if you want to make yourself look completely foolish, it's your lookout really.
You do realise this is how wars get started, don't you?

Be told, Isaiah. and Begone please. Fight on my space if you must, you lunatic.

Evadne,
I don't know how to apologise without invading your personal space, but here goes.
I apologise to you and you only for the "juvinille" response. I did not know you were dyslexic and initially thought you were having a dig at my spelling. I do not touch type, just look at the keyboard. My wife shakes her head at my spelling as i have to keep deleting words. I only made the connection when Gill had pointed it out.
I have nothing to offer you but the truth, unlike some. I have already shown that Jack is lying by using information that is right here on these boards and therefore in the public domain.
I'd appreciate if you did not get together with Jack to build up whatever false picture he has of me (and of reality in general) on these boards. Privately, it's your loss. But, hey ho.
Being Christian, as you rightly point out, I love you as one of God's masterpieces and wish you all the very best. The fact that you are dyslexic
I have never held you any ill will. I only sought to expose the truth about Jack's military exploits.
I have posted my email address on Gill's board. If you would like to email me, you are more than welcome to do so.
God bless.
