They all appear to be in the US Lots of much closer forests. On the Island there's Parkhurst Forest, Brighstone Forest, Firestone Copse, Borthwood Copse, Bridlesford Copse - if you want something more American then America Woods is outside Shanklin. Lots of woodland and copses. Or there's the New Forest.

None of the above appear to be on discovertheforest.org - or at least I don't think they are - they keep asking me for my 'zip' which is a below-the-belt request if ever I heard one. I know what bears do in the woods, but I didn't think it was that sort of website...
