I actually put it to the tune of the William Tell Overture, the 'Lone Ranger' Theme song in my head.

Insightly CRM solution.

Dreadful name - sounds too much like 'unsightly'

Still Zendesk, not that I care.

They're still trying to either get me to look for a job, or to offer someone one.

Oooh - that's a new one: The Marshall Wireless Multi-Room System. Music in the bathroom at last!

It seems the ONLY adverts I'm seeing is for merchandise commemorating the Houston Astros "World" Series triumph available at Academy, the "Official Sproting Goods Retailer of the Houston Astros™.

I went to Academy Sprots and Outdoors, the licensed retailer of Astros clothing and merchandise, Friday and there was an actual line queued up specifically to purchase Astros stuff. Fortunately, as I was there for a non-Astros affiliated collapsible water container, I bypassed the queue.

Free Bookkeeping software.

Severely irrelevant, unless they are pandering to my interest in words.

A rare example, bookkeeping, having three successive double letters.

DUTH stands for Democritus University of Thrace. The ancient Thracians were good stock-breeders. They made yoghurt from sheep's milk. The boundaries of ancient Thrace cross the modern countries of Greece, Bulgaria, and Turkey. Greek-speaking Thracians would use the word provato to mean sheep.

other kinds of stock I don't know about. smiley - blush

That is good to have an Astros queue and a non-Astros queue to save putting off general customers smiley - ok

In the UK there is a social security product for disabled people called ESA, so I make comments on articles about it occasionally. I think the cookies have noticed this, so my advert today is for hotels by Extended Stay America smiley - laugh

Amazon prime's true cost will astound you.

Really? I have high threshold for astoundishment.

[Wait, maybe that should be astonishment smiley - blush]

A Google phone. Now how did they know I'm thinking of getting a new phone soon. (Nothing wrong with the one I've got, except it's slowing down a bit and I have had to uninstall practically all apps because it keeps telling me there's not enough space to update them. I've deleted umpteen files and moved loads to the SD card, but the drive is still almost full.)

Lately I seem to keep seeing ads for Thanksgiving dinnerware that I've been searching for on the Macy site and elsewhere. Well, on one hand it's not unpleasant to see how the software thinks it might be helping me, but on the other hand it's like going duck hunting and always finding where the ducks used to be, but not where they are now. smiley - erm

smiley - laugh Great analogy!

I think the adverts hope they might tempt you to buy more if you've already bought something from a particular site, but when they are showing you a specific item (eg a car, or even a Graph Database) that is being a bit overly optimistic..!
