I'm afraid you drew a blank with those, Beatrice.
You might score for one other Eurovision song, though...

Today's 5 guesses:
The Stevie Wonder sample was a big clue - Coolio with Gangsta's Paradise.
Eurovision songs?
Katrina with Love Shine A Light - I think at the time its winning margin was the highest ever.
Going back in time, I remember my ballet teacher telling me she'd bought Brotherhood of Man Save Your Kisses For Me, having been charmed by its final line "even though you're only 3". So if a 70 year old woman purchased it I'm guessing it was widely sold!
Boybands:
Boyzone - No Matter What
Westlife - You Raise Me Up.

Can't start to guess any of those. Very UK centric. Except perhaps the last one, but even there I'm stumped...

a band who changed their name after the death of their vocalist.
The only one I can think of is Joy Division > New Order
The only song I can think of by them would be "Love will tear us apart"

Beatrice Posted Jan 6, 2015
Today's Five from the Bea-Hive....
I think the Beeb persona non grata must be Gary Glitter. I can name a few songs, not sure which was the biggest seller but I'll try "Do You Wanna Be In My Gang (Come on come on)"
From the same era I'll go for Marc Bolan and T Rex and Get it On.
Was the yodeller Frank Ifield -I Remember You.
TV show winners - Hear'Say Pure and Simple
INXS Need You Tonight
