Had a lovely day....had a couple of hours at college where i breezed through almost half of the new level that i started.
Sat outside a teashop for a hile with some tea and toast and read the papers. Founf the camera that i have been looking for....absolute business, so i am well pleased about that.
A nice two mile + walk, got some good research done on the person i am going to interview, plus a bit of writing and caught up with a few e-mails.
Then this afternoon i have also been chilling in the garden and having water fights with the boys, got these cool guns called 'super soakers'....lol (reliving my childhood.
Gonna have a couple of glasses tonight and a small braai in the garden for supper, and then maybe finish off my book.
The weekend is looking very lively with parties all over the place so i want to take it fairly easy this week in preparation.
Hope all goes well at the pub tonight....but you will be fine though....if the guy was going to give grief he would of done it by now....he has probably already been well tuned. Holding thumbs for you all the same

Always great to relive your child-hood, i do all the time No news on that guy, sure they will let us know if we are needed though!
Got my sons sat results through today (exams) doing really well, 2 above average, 1 below, and everything else is average, so not to bad!
You do like your walks! So why is this camera the buis then?

6 million pixels...a flash that throws light for 50 feet and takes an adaption that extends that to 90 feet, infra red for when it is darkish....as long as i can see something it will take it.....10 x zoom....plus more. Not really an expert on cameras but it will be good for everything i need, especially when i am back in the bush...perfect for wildlife....i probably didn't tell you but wildlife photography is an absolute passion of mine.
I do like walking yes, most of all i like keeping fit.
I love walking through the bush. I had an incredible experience last year when i was on location on a game reserve in Limpopo province, i went for a walk for about 5 kilometres with a Cheetah. The ranger i was with had found it as a baby after its mother had been killed by a lion and brought it up. Walking with it gave the bush a whole new perspective.
Great news about Luke, you really must be very proud of him. I don't even know him and i'm pleased and proud for you.... (hope that doesn't sound weird.
I doubt very much whether you will hear any more about that guy.
Had a nice evening last night, we ended up going next door and sitting out in the garden for a couple , their son was home for the night, he is in some band and brought his guitar out so we were singing along with him....he was very good, especially with the van morrison songs.
No sign of the storms that were forecast this morning.... could be another scorcher....how are you today and how is the day looking?

Wow, that must have been such an amazing experience, walking with a cheetah! I remember when i did my sailing race, i sat at the bow of the yacht, all was calm, and there where just hundreds of jelly fish, was amazing to see!
Your camera sounds good, im not really into photography, just a throw away camera does me fine! But when i was younger, i used to go to a youth club, and they did photography there, and i used to use the dark room, so know how to develop a photo.
My day, got sports day at my sons school, if the weather holds out, really hope the thunder-storms dont start until after lunch, otherwise it is cancelled, which would be a shame, house-work to be done, and im going out this evening, was going to go to Windsor if the weather was nice, find a nice bar have a bite to eat, and a few drinks, but if this thunder-storm comes through, then going to the cinema to watch Matrix Reloaded, so should be a good evening either way!

Ouch, just had a reminder for Luke to go to the dentist, i really, really hate the dentist, last time i took him for a check-up i nearly had a panic attack in the waiting room, he needed to go back for a filling, so i had to get his aunt to come with me, just incase i couldnt handle it stupid i know.

The jelly fish must of been quite a sight.....some of my most memorable memories are related to experiences i have had in the wild, whereas a lot of absolutely brilliant times had at clubs and parties are long forgotton....i wonder if there is a moral to that....maybe it is just the drink and party food...lol.
I always wanted to learn how to develop pictures but never did. Still, probably won't need to now as i can do everything on the computer.
I really hope the weather holds out for you, will they cancel it or postpne it if not?
Those are the days where i know i miss out on by not having any kids...have fun and enjoy, i don't think it will storm...a few showers maybe.
Windsor sounds good...my type of evening...good food ...good company and a couple of drinks.

HELP_IM_LOST (why are there not enough hours in the day?) Posted Jul 16, 2003
It will be cancelled if it pours down, they break up of friday so.... Developing films is really easy, but then computers are taking all that over now, in fact they are taking everything over!
Think you forget the clubs cos of the drink! and they all meld into one night saying that, i have had some quite memoriable nights out not sure if that should actually be instead of
The dentist chair, oh yuck, def the most hated chair in the world, i need to go to the dentist, to scared, so going to the docs instead, got a very slight infection im sure the doc will be able to prescribe the right antibiotics for it! I hope

No shame in having fun at all....its the style in which it is done that counts, and as long as you can chuckle with the mirror at the end of the day there is nothing to fear....yikes..bit early for philosophizing.
The docs sounds like a good place to start....will an antiseptic mouth wash do it?

Always the style that it is done in
Not sure, its only a slight infection, went on a faddy diet, as i do, so reckon its down to that.

Nonametraveller Posted Jul 16, 2003
Love a bit of style.
What is a faddy diet? or is that just a manner of speech?

HELP_IM_LOST (why are there not enough hours in the day?) Posted Jul 16, 2003
A fad diet is in the fact of a stupid one, i was eating 2 bowls of cornflakes and a normal lunch, for 2 weeks, just want to lose a little bit of weight as im bridesmaid next month. Not a great deal to lose.

Nonametraveller Posted Jul 16, 2003
Another reason why i walk....fortunately for me dieting is not something i have ever had to worry about. i did put a bit on once and didn't like it at all, the appearance was quite ok but i felt very uncomfortable.
Nothing wrong with you wanting to look your best as a bridesmaid though...if i am honest when i know there is something coming up i always tend to eat and drink a bit less.

Walking is very good excerise, one of the best! I tend to just do sit-ups at home, and attend the gym when i can. I hate ppl that dont have to watch there weight, drives me up the wall
