HELP_IM_LOST (why are there not enough hours in the day?) Posted Jul 28, 2003
I went out Sat night, and skipped the wedding, had a really good night, even though it is a bit patchy! But it was good Had a really good weekend, Chelse won yesterday, so that was good Tight though, as it went to penalties! Had a row with one of the guys in the pub last night, i short changed him by £5, gave it to him, but then he started yelling at me, and we ended up arguing! Great fun, he will prob be in today, and everything will be sorted, he was just drunk! All fun and games.
So did you have a good weekend?

Nonametraveller Posted Jul 28, 2003
Did you go to the Chelsea game?...penaltys--obviouslt not a friendly then...what was the competition?
In between everything else i have been watching the England v SA cricket test.
Yeah i know about 'patchy' evenings.....the worst is when dodgy bits suddenly spring back into mind days later...lol....or you wake up thinking "oh no!!...did i really say that"....and cringe back under the covers again....lmao
I had a nice one too...we had a dinner party on saturday which saw lashings of wine consumed round a table of great food and some good company....got to bed at about 3am also pretty well tuned up.
Missed the cricket yeaterday morning but the guys got through to the semis so i went through later in the day. We lost in our semi unfortunately but it was a lovely old cricket ground and a nice vibe.
Spent a bit of time on here and just generally chilled, it took me a while to shake the babbalas.
Off to college just now, probably a walk later, bit of writing....that'll be me i guess this week. I am thinking of getting into night mode over the next few weeks ....taking long walks at dawn and then getting some sleep during the days.
Also planning on going to a rave or something one night and dancing the night away....havn't done that for years.....do they still have them?....how sad that i need to ask....lol

HELP_IM_LOST (why are there not enough hours in the day?) Posted Jul 29, 2003
Yeah, im fine, just been busy, so when im busy, dont find the time to come on here, prob wont be on much over the next week either, as Luke is away! So few nights out planned now
Would have loved to have gone to the match, but nope, as you have now found out great to win though, always is
Sounds like you had a good weekend!
Rave's, i stopped going yrs ago, so dont know that much about your proper raves, but the good clubs do just the same I know in London, Camden Palace does the back to 1990 and back to 1996, which are always good, Fabric is good, (over in Kings Cross) so yeah, theres still decent places to go to, just have a look in your area, youll have to prob go to a town though!
You know we were saying the other day about leaving the past in the past, too bloddy right, my dad rang me earlier, bringing the past up, i told him i didnt want to talk to him about it, and leave it where it was, he wouldnt, but also cant admit that he did wrong, put the phone down on him in the end, and pulled the phone out of the socket so he cant ring, really pissed off with him, cant understand why he has had to bring it up, and not admit to his faults Leave it where it is eh!
Enough of me going on, hope you have a good week, and might see you on here, if not ill get back to any messages you leave

Ah, bless on getting used to our chats
Not going well with your family then? Ive been getting on fine with my dad, never brought anything up, then he has to go and ruin it all by brining it up, and im not being funny, he has no right too, if anyone brings it up, then it should be down to me! Sorry, little kiddie tantrum there! Has to be done!!!

I'll tune my computer into kiss then and change the channel in the car...see whats happening.
[email protected] well...i guess i'm just a big softie at heart...lol.
Quite honestly i think mum and dad are living in denial. The fact is though that everything else in there lives is now cool so i don't really want to push it....i'll end up being the bad guy again...who needs it.

HELP_IM_LOST (why are there not enough hours in the day?) Posted Jul 29, 2003
I listen to loads of different music, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Jungle, R&B, Madness, The Coral, Coldplay, Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, im into all sorts of music. Kiss, depending on the night you listen to can be very heavy, Drum & Bass, to old skoll, to jungle, but all clubby music, but it does depend what night you tune into.... Nice easy response there
Blind Conversation
Nonametraveller Posted Jul 29, 2003
some serious chuckling goin on here....i guess i get a bit too heavy at times hey?...lol...don't mean to.
Me too...with the music i mean...love my music and got a big collection in SA. I couldn't even begin to list the artists...just too many...there is very little music that i don't appreciate..( at the right time).
battling to tune into kiss...do you know what the staions full name is?
(another easy one...lol)

Its Kiss FM, tune into it on 100FM. Used to be a pirate station yrs ago, one of the best around, but got busted, then they decided to go for a proper licence and got it!

HELP_IM_LOST (why are there not enough hours in the day?) Posted Jul 30, 2003
Oh, but then i dont like Jazz, Opera all that stuff, doesnt appeal at all!
Blind Conversation
Nonametraveller Posted Jul 30, 2003
Battling to find Kiss on the computer...doesn't seem to want to know, finding me Kiss stations in china and hungary of all places. Never mind i'll get it in the car.
I like bluesy jazz and very much into my blues. Even opera a little bit in recent times. Sunday morning...nice bit of green..in the garden with strains of la traviatta coming through. Sometimes when i am on my own ...bit more green...lol...cooking and some good classical can be very therapeutic!! Have to be in the right mood though...agreed.
I go through spells....a while ago i loved Macy Grays voice then i got back into John L hooker ... it can vary right across the musical spectrum. Never country pop though or really screechy heavy heavy 'rock'.
So when do you get Luke back?...you mentioned a while back that you were working on the possibility of getting back with your ex...hows it going?...being nosey i know...but i am interested as well as the chat perspective.

Luke comes back on Friday, so ive had the day off today, just relaxing, going to the gym tonight, sun-bed then a combat class, should be good, then a couple of beers afterwards to undo all that hard work
Just in case i have confused issues, its not Lukes father im sorting things out with, i split with him when Luke was 18 months old, then met a guy a couple of months later, and we where together for nearly 4 yrs, it seems to be going ok, he came round last night, but i was in such a shitty mood, didnt go to well, but he didnt seem to mind my mood, but i did. but yeah, things seem to be going ok, if we can both let go off the past. I seem to be doing a lot of that with my life! Oh well!!!

Nonametraveller Posted Jul 30, 2003
Combat Class?....what is that ..self defence?
I guess you must be missing Luke... even if you are enjoying the space!!
Not so easy letting go of the past is it...i can forgive things fairly easily to a point...once past that point it is very very difficult for me to come back. I find it almost impossible to forget as well...try though i may...i'm ok until something similar happens ,then it all comes flooding back.
Whatever..i think i said it before..but i hope that what is best for you and luke is what falls into place.Let me know how it goes....if need be, and if i can ..i'll be more than happy to help if you need to know anything from a guys perspective.
All a bit upside down here at the mo...elaine and two of the kids are up in Brummie for the funeral of their friend, the little fella is with friends..but they all come back just now to finish packing for portugal tomorrow...bags, racquets and golf clubs everywhere..plus the painter is in redoing the kitchen....looking forward to the space i reckon...probably give a big sigh of relief when i drop them off at the airport tomorrow...lol

HELP_IM_LOST (why are there not enough hours in the day?) Posted Jul 31, 2003
I presume that everyone has now left, nice to have some space to yourself, it is good
Combat Training, nope, not self-defence, its a high-impact training class, hard to explain, its kinda an arobic's class, but all kicks and punches whilst jumping, really, really good class, my legs hurt today, and im sure that tom my arms will kill! Really need to sort out a regular sitter so i can go all the time. Thinking of joining the gym now, its only £40 a month, so going to see what i can do, I really miss going Afterwards, we went for a QUIET drink, didnt quite work out, a bottle of wine later, my mate was up for clubbing, but being a Wednesday, we couldnt, but went to a pub that had a 12 o'clock license, it was a great night, my mate is now suffering from a hang-over! Im fine though
You sound very similar to me on the past, never forget, i can forgive, but to a point, that is the difficulty with my ex, he left me a week after our sons funeral, and its weather i can get over that, and trust him to stick around if we go through hard times again in the future.
So what have you got planned, now the family have gone away?
Blind Conversation
Nonametraveller Posted Jul 31, 2003
yep they are all away now, they only left at 11.30 as the flight is only at 2pm. I was going to help them get to the airport but i seem to have a bit of a problem with my eye and this morning it looks like i have been in a boxing match. Went to docs yesterday and he seems to think that i have got something in there and then rubbed it in....whatever...it is well dodgy today and my vision is a bit blurry for it so it made sense not to drive.
The combat training sounds good...i think they have the same thing in SA but there it is called Boxerobics...from what i know it is great way to get and stay fit....nothing better than the feeling of feeling fit and strong...hey?
I like your idea of a QUIET drink....lol...they are the best times though, those that just happen...don't you think?
Difficult to comment on the timing of your mans departure last time out....especially as i offered to help if i can in my last post...probably best i don't comment....the offer of help if you need it remains though...stronger if anything.
No plans really....just going to take it day by day....kinda thinking about getting tuned one night and going clubbing...i believe that the weather is going to get hot again so i will probably spend a couple of days by the pool and make the most of it.
Then of course there will be all the partys and dinner partys etc etc....lol....wanna come?
I will probably be on here quite a bit...flitting between work and writing...i'll get quite bit of college work done...oh yes i am going to buy the camera i was telling you about earlier...probably tomorrow or saturday , so i will be playing around with that a bit too.
And you?...what is in the pipeline.....anything good coming up?
