A small corner of the Galaxy
Greetings, . This is, basically, the corner of the Galaxy where I reside... *thinks, nods slightly, and provides information*My 'chosen' name is Markus, a cross between Mark and Marcus, but since someone apparently seems to be using it already, or so I think, I am using the slightly more original name of 'Ghul'Ruk', the name of my character in the Shadowclan Orcs, a roleplaying guild within the multiplayer game Ultima Online, Catskills shard.
On newsgroups, I am either known as 'Rupert Wanderer' (the 'Wanderer' from the fact that I was studying Genghis Khan at the time, but 'Nomad' wasn't availible as a pseudonym, and 'Rupert' I simply pulled out of the air), or 'Refractor Dragon', my Dragon name in the UDIC (Ultima Dragon's Internet Chapter).
Some things have changed since this was originally written... We've settled into a better situation; we are the Triad, and I am the Hub. Through a rather Holistic effect, the Hub is the sum of the Triad... The names are are mentioned above, which I have left unchanged for historical reasons; it's interesting to look back, and remember.
Markus is the cerebral one, of the Nornir... Not the Norse meaning, the AL meaning. Rupert Wanderer (in his human form)/Refractor Dragon (in his... do we really need to spell it out?) tends to deal with general wisdom, and specifically humour. Ghul'Ruk, an orc, tends to work with the different hormones, and such... Quite physically-oriented. However, we share each other's attributes: Markus has quite a sense of humor himself, Ghul is critized by other orcs for 'thinking too much', and Refractor wouldn't be who he is without some physical attributes (the ability to flame glory-seeking knights, for example). Our 'tripartite mind' as we have come to call it fares rather well, acting and interacting via the Hub.
Oh, and incidently: 22+4+7+7+2=42 *smiles*
