...so please don't eat me! You can keep all your princesses.
Just realised I'd never talked to you directly, so decided to say hi. Hi.

Hi Mala!
Nice of you to pop in .
I promise to not eat you. Anyway, knight's armour tend to cause some minor maldigestion occasionally. Must be careful what you eat them with. Knight and catapults at the same time is usually a bad idea.

However with wooden legs might be handy since the leg can be used as tooth pick. At least if the is of the larger kind.

Oh yes, a nice pile of pirates arranged upside down with their heads stuck in a bed of goat's cheese would make a good party platter!

Delightful! Must ask Pierce if he know any good supplier
Maybe they should be served with lots of hot to conceal the rhum taste?

Oh, but and rum go well together!
Chocolate-covered pirate. You may be on to a business opportunity, there! Just make sure they wash behind their ears.

The latter may be tricky. are a dirty bunch of people!
Thankfully I'm able to digest almost everything. A slight burning of before ingesting does the trick

Aaaah, crunchy on the outside! Just be careful, rum-soaked pirates might make a big flame!
A book I read as a child had a dragon describing the sound of eating princesses as "giggle giggle - eek!"
Pirates probably don't even scream.

I'm not much for princesses. They taste lame and and mostly just skin and bones. Better use them for making broth. Could be nice if you add and

That's like a soup stone. You might as well do without the entirely!
(Dinner's ready - no pirates or princesses, but we do have egg noodles with cheese, onions, and apples )
I'm no knight in shining armour...
I completely forgot to make dinner and I've eaten a 250g bag of nuts and raisins during the afternoon, so I'm not hungry enough to start with dinner this late...

The cats are not good for keeping anyone warm They are very good stealing duvets and blankets, making you wake up in the wee hours.
So, how is life for you? Still an apprentice knight?
I'm no knight in shining armour...
Malabarista - now with added pony Posted Oct 5, 2008
True. Mine did that last night, and then looked *cute* in self-defence so I couldn't just put her out!
I was never a knight, just a mercenary Less honour involved
Theoretically still am, but couldn't train for half a year - my accessory nerve was damaged during surgery so I couldn't lift my right arm, much less the sword - and by the time I was through with the physical therapy, my group had disbanded
I'll have my BSC in one more semester anyway, then have to go about finding a new group wherever I do my Master's. But it'll have to be one that's nice to dragons
How are you this fine Sunday? Have you managed to eat by now?
I'm no knight in shining armour...
Nerve damages aren't no fun.
Being a mercenary is probably more profitable. After all you have to pay for oil to grease your armour, new swords, the occasional etc.
You're going to be an architect, aren't you? Well, if you will be designing bathrooms and kitchen, please make sure they will be easy to keep clean, and don't have odd spaces that attract crumbles and dust and that are impossible to reach without turning the whole place down.
I've had breakfast, and I'm out of nuts and raisins so I guess I'd better use my skills today. Cooking when you it alone is no fun. DJ, son #2, lives some 20 mins by from me and have dinner here some Sundays, especially in the end of the month when he is short of money... Obviously he has not spent all his pay check yet since he has not called and asked what's for dinner.
I'm just procrastinating... there are bathrooms to be cleaned, floors to be vacuumed and some work related documents to be written. Blargh!

One reason I can't be a knight is my current severe lack of - but once we're done renovating the ol' home farm, a stable on the back pasture will be the next project, whether my stepfather wants it or not
And that's a good way to think about kitchens and bathrooms. High-gloss anything is also to be avoided, shows the fingerprints... Also, the nerve damage showed me how you really have to think about accessibility *beyond* the standard wide-doors-for-wheelchairs, so it was a useful experience.
Oooh, the end-of-the-month problem, how well I know it Good thing he lives so close!
Want me to distract you from the evil housework? Though I need to go help my sister with her homework eventually... Right now, she's unmotivated to start
I'm no knight in shining armour...
The procrastinator in me would to be distracted... but the more orderly grown up part of me must be allowed to take command.
Must Leave Computer Now...
