They had "perch in jelly" for breakfast. Suited them better, but I guess it's the jelly that matters. All these catfoods look the same and all have mostly as major protein source. Obviously that is a protein source easy for cats to digest.

I don't think the cats themselves really care about what's easy to digest! If you tell them it's good for them, they'll snub it...

Though ours will always leave mouse noses lying around. They'll eat the rest, but not the nose.

Serve the nose in jelly... the Lair cats eat almost anything that is covered with jelly.

Handy to know if you ever want to get rid of leftovers

There are exceptions though.

I doubt the new goodies I bought would please them even if covered in jelly... Guess that bag will end up in my backpack and hopefully princess's Chinese cat will like them.

...and it's a standing joke in this family about the "Mummy Bank". Nowadays I don't have to support the hatchling's Dad - he became history ages ago - and has a decent paid job. DJ and princess still need withdrawals from the "Mummy Bank"
