I generally avoid sports. I just hate when there is some big championship going on, like soccer or ice hockey. Then all colleagues and staff at w*rk will spend all lunches and tea breaks discussing matches, goals and whatever. I'm usually very happy when Sweden loses and has to leave the game because then you can start to have intelligent and meaningful conversations again!




...but there might be athletes though...

It's terrible over here, too - sports are the only occasion when Germans are allowed to be patriotic

I'm afraid I don't fancy the athletes so much - most of them tend to be a bit underendowed in the brain department. They just have to open their mouths once...

Well, who said you must talk to them...

What else would you do with them? Not play , surely!

I'm just going to take care of my health. Exercise is said to be beneficial...

Oh, is that what it's called these days

Of course, all activites raising the heart rate and making you sweat must be exercise...

That's convenient.

having after midnight will definitely keep me awake all night - otherwise I don't mind.

I've got four cats sleeping around me, but not even a snoring Li'l kitty makes me fall asleep.

I've only got one cat here. Fortunately asleep, else it would be helping And mine *is* spotted, it's a cat of many colours.

The spotted cat... I saw a blue dotted ocicat (didn't even know they existed ) and I want one...

However, there are four cats in the Lair already and I assume I'm close already to be looked upon as "the crazy cat lady at the top floor"...

Just googled them - they are cute!

And just put a sign on your door that says "I'm not a crazy cat lady, I'm an internet weirdo" - that'll shut them up

You can have our scary cat. The day before yesterday, he caught a mouse. Yesterday, a bird. Today, one of the neighbour's cows was lying dead in the pasture...

Oops! Maybe you should tell you neighbours to guard their carefully...

...or maybe just get some cat food..?

I filled almost half my backpack with cat food when I went shopping this afternoon ( I mean yesterday). I'm off to visit princess in China in a few days and I must admit I don't entirely trust DJ to feed them properly unless there are plenty of food at home.

Don't cats prefer cheezburgers anyway?

I got a raspberry yesterday from the shop where I do most of my food shopping. Lynx was of course begging for a piece, but when I put some of the whipped cream at plate for him he just sniffed and left it...

Send it here - we had to fish Lili out of the cake pan yesterday, after we'd set it on the counter to cool

Though I read somewhere that cats can't taste sweet - maybe that's why he didn't like it?

(We had a cat once that refused milk - he'd only accept cream, and only when it had been warmed in the microwave first! Now *that* was a spoiled cat.)
