Oh I realize (about the central heating), my uncle married a woman from Kent & had gone to visit her parents years ago - during the winter!
This is the first reasonably 'normal' winter we've had in a few years...they've gotten noticeably milder.

will have to get on with the dreaded filing soon but it's been good to chat. I hope to have some time Monday to check in again, but that shift tends to be hectic. I'm only doing tonight to cover for one of the other nurses. That makes 4 night duties this week
Haven't had much time to have much fun recently. Did manage to see Nick Cave in concert in London at the end of last year. It was really good. I do miss going to live gigs.

Yes I enjoyed chatting again too, unfortunately I had typed out a lengthlier reply before & somehow while I was correcting typos this 
in' beast ATE the whole thing*rolls eyes & vows Major repairs asap*, necessitating the briefer retyping!

Comedy's always good. I don't get to watch much tv usually. It's usually documentaries that interest me.
I'm busy typing up notes from a study day I attended yesterday. Not thrilling but very useful to me in my midwifery job.
It's just after 4am here and I'm loking forward to home time in 2 hours. I've got a busy week this week.

Currently watching or semi-watching a quirky old-style crime...not drama really - rather unique. Elements of Sherlock Holmes in a way.

Sounds good. I'm never much good at figuring those out, and anoy my beloved by asking irritating questions about who was where and did what. Probably because my children or some domestic chore has distracted me at a crutial moment.

Rather bizarre (to an extent) the hero has OCD (*Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) yet this allows him to makestrangely logical deductions!
