No worries - there's no requirement or site convention that expects instant responses. Some people are here a lot, some not so often. Some of us are blessed with a non-open plan office

At least Gordon Strachan has done more good for the Saints than he did for my old home town team,Coventry City.

Can remember when The Saints and Coventry drew 5-5 many years ago in the old first division.Do you recall the game at all,Pandapig?

I'm afraid I don't remember compo. I have a slightly strange history as a Saints fan - I was born near Southampton and have never supported any other team, but I grew up in South Africa so I've been to very few Saints matches! (I'm back in the UK now & just sent off my membership application, hope to see lots of games next season!)

I think Strach was a bit unlucky at Coventry - your board made him sell some important players and there wasn't much he could do.

Unfortunately,selling the best players has always been a problem for every Coventry manager,not just Gordon Strachan,over the years.Just hope Gary McAllister can motivate the team better in the forthcoming season with the limited resources available to him.And,yes,it would be nice to get back into the top flight,not just for the team,but to give the city as a whole a boost.

Go on then compo, don't keep me in suspense. What year was the 5-5 draw then?
