And I just realized that this week had an anniversary for me too. Ten years ago, on a Friday the 13th, I wore the military uniform for the last time. By 9 am that day, I was not a civilian, but ex-military.

Actually, it was only a day or two later that I thought about it. So nawww, no celebrations. Maybe I'll do a special weather dance.

Indeed, if there's even a hint of blowing snow, you could walk right past many of them ... not even seeing them. But with bright splashes of colour, he DOES catch the eye.
