What if people thought instead of fought?

Have u ever wondered wat the world would be like now if mean of the past instead of fighting each other for each others land, put there minds together to find liveable planets out in the universe do u think we would have found some and if so would we be able to travel there.
Just one of many of the possible parallel universe senarios that i think about

Is the universe only one of many?

I was stepping intot the shower and i thought, people say that the universe is all that there is but what if it isnt, what if the universe is just another name for a space like solar system or galaxy and we are just another universe among millions floating around in space next to each other like galaxies
